Dynamic Metadata Management in Semantic File SystemsIJERA Editor
The progression in data capacity and difficulty inflicts great challenges for file systems. To address these contests, an inventive namespace management scheme is in distracted need to deliver both the ease and competence of data access. For scalability, each server makes only local, autonomous decisions about relocation for load balancing. Associative access is provided by a traditional extension to present tree-structured file system conventions, and by protocols that are intended specifically for content based access.Rapid attribute-based accesstofile system contents is fulfilled by instinctive extraction and indexing of key properties of file system objects. The programmed indexing of files and calendars is called “semantic” because user programmable transducers use data about the semantics of efficient file system objects to extract the properties for indexing. Tentative results from a semantic file system execution support the thesis that semantic file systems present a more active storage abstraction than do traditional tree planned file systems for data sharing and command level programming. Semantic file system is executed as a middleware in predictable file systems and works orthogonally with categorized directory trees. The semantic relationships and file groups recognized in file systems can also be used to facilitate file prefetching among other system-level optimizations. All-encompassing trace-driven experiments on our sample implementation validate the efficiency and competence.

The peer-to-peer paradigm gained more and more impact in the last years. The reason for P2P arising now is related to the continuous development of device capabilities in the last years, like CPU power, storage space and bandwidth. However, the demand for services and resources is permanently increasing, although the peers have a variety of other resources themselves. In this paper we present the idea of a P2P system acting as a service provider using the resources of participating peers and stating guarantees on the quality of the service it provides. In order to fulfill these service level agreements, the peers confederate to a distributed supervisor of peer resources (P2PCLOUD), monitoring the network, predicting trends on resource availabilities and deciding on resource allocation strategies. This paper discusses the challenges and a solution draft of the concept of P2PCLOUD.

RECURRENT FEATURE GROUPING AND CLASSIFICATION MODEL FOR ACTION MODEL PREDICTI...IJDKP
Content based retrieval has an advantage of higher prediction accuracy as compared to tagging based approach. However, the complexity in its representation and classification approach, results in lower processing accuracy and computation overhead. The correlative nature of the feature data are un-explored in the conventional modeling, where all the data features are taken as a set of feature values to give a decision. The recurrent feature class attribute is observed for the feature regrouping in action model prediction. In this paper a co-relative information, bounding grouping approach is suggested for action model prediction in CBMR application. The co-relative recurrent feature mapping results in faster retrieval process as compared to the conventional retrieval system.

“Press Play on History” focuses on activities to engage students with primary sources in the AAPB's Protesting in America exhibit.
The American Archive of Public Broadcasting, a collaboration between the Library of Congress and public media producer GBH, streams primary and secondary public broadcasting content dating back more than 70 years. Over 130 organizations have contributed historic and culturally significant collections to the AAPB, providing educators with online, audiovisual materials for distance teaching and learning.
4,000 assets created by 230 different television and radio stations over a seventy-year period, stored on twenty-five different media formats, digitized and made accessible through a three-institution partnership during a pandemic. What could possibly go wrong? Four participants in this collaborative effort will discuss their contributions to the project, including innovative tools, evolving procedures, and collaborative strategies. They will also speak to the policies and tactics that have allowed the project to remain on track during the pandemic. Key topics include obtaining permissions from rights holders; creating and correcting speech-to-text transcripts, managing a remote workforce; conducting research during Covid-19 and curating an online exhibit; and digital asset management and quality control. The modern software delivery process (or the CI/CD process) includes many tools, distributed teams, open-source code, and cloud platforms. Constant focus on speed to release software to market, along with the traditional slow and manual security checks has caused gaps in continuous security as an important piece in the software supply chain. Today organizations feel more susceptible to external and internal cyber threats due to the vast attack surface in their applications supply chain and the lack of end-to-end governance and risk management.
The software team must secure its software delivery process to avoid vulnerability and security breaches. This needs to be achieved with existing tool chains and without extensive rework of the delivery processes. This talk will present strategies and techniques for providing visibility into the true risk of the existing vulnerabilities, preventing the introduction of security issues in the software, resolving vulnerabilities in production environments quickly, and capturing the deployment bill of materials (DBOM).

This paper presents Reef, a system for generating publicly verifiable succinct non-interactive zero-knowledge proofs that a committed document matches or does not match a regular expression. We describe applications such as proving the strength of passwords, the provenance of email despite redactions, the validity of oblivious DNS queries, and the existence of mutations in DNA. Reef supports the Perl Compatible Regular Expression syntax, including wildcards, alternation, ranges, capture groups, Kleene star, negations, and lookarounds. Reef introduces a new type of automata, Skipping Alternating Finite Automata (SAFA), that skips irrelevant parts of a document when producing proofs without undermining soundness, and instantiates SAFA with a lookup argument. Our experimental evaluation confirms that Reef can generate proofs for documents with 32M characters; the proofs are small and cheap to verify (under a second).
