Amanda has worked as a senior graphic designer at York College for 13 years, having studied art at Barnsley Art College for 2 years and gained experience working at Ladybird books and for the Yorkshire Post in Leeds. After college she gained further experience working in publications in Sheffield and Nottingham before moving to York College where she has now worked for over a decade.

1. Amanda is a senior graphic designer who has worked at
York College for 13 years.
She’s always wanted to work on the art side and she studied
at Barnsley Art College for 2 years. In the meantime she
worked at ladybird books at the weekend. Back in her day
there was no computers so obviously it was more hands on.
Her first actual job came when she worked for Yorkshire
Post in Leeds. She also had experiences in fashion drawing
in Harrogate. After Barnsley Art College she went on to do
Publications in Sheffield and Nottingham where she worked
for three days in the former a week and two days in the
latter. After this she then moved to York College where she
is still working 13 years down the line.
