Objective As a member of the customer service field, I have grown to love the connections I have with my guests. In an effort to
extend that connection, I am looking to remain in a field where communications based in helping remain of the utmost
importance.
Experience The Capital Grille September 2013-January2016
I currently move between front of house positions of server, cocktail waitress, and bartender. I previously held the
position of hostess for 10 months before being promoted. The CapitalGrille is a fine dining restaurant within Darden
Restaurants. This customer service position exposes me to many guests and has taught me how to exceed their
expectations.
Defender Direct March 2012-August2013
I was a marketing intern for Defender Direct; owners of William’s Comfort Air, True Home, and Protect Your Home
Authorized Dealers of ADT. I have worked with their copywriter and media buyers as a part of my internship. The
experience has taught me professionalism, negotiation tactics, writing skills, data entry, project management and much
more.
White Lodging May 2011-March 2012
I started at TGI Friday’s as a waitress where I was consistently recognized as a part of the top 15 employees. I was able
to learn about customer service, time management, training and more. I was later moved into a position at Starbucks. I
had experience as a barista and there was a desperateneed for help during the Super Bowl influx.
Education Brownsburg High School Graduated May 2012
I graduated Brownsburg High School with an Academic honors Diploma.
IUPUI August 2010-December 2014
I have completed 5 years towards a Communication Studies degree and a Sports Journalism degree.
Skills As an employee, I am confident, a quick learner, willing, task oriented, good with high stress situations and with
communicating. From thepositions listed about I have gained skills including customer service, project management,
presentation strategies, research, negotiation, data entry, professionalcallings (cold and warm), time management,
prioritization and positivefocus.
My education has exposed me to a variety of professors, students and other faculty, which has taught me how to further
adapt. I am now better at adjusting myself in order to better the situation while still upholding my personal foundations
and beliefs.
