DIGITAL CONTENT
 It is a type of content that exists in the form of
digital data and also known as digital media.
 It is stored on either digital or analog storage in
specific formats.
 The forms of digital content include information
that is digitally broadcast, streamed or contained
in computer files. The narrower approach of the
types of digital content include popular media
types, while a broader approach considers any
type of digital information (e. g. digitally updated
weather forecast, GPS map, etc.) as digital content.

1. SlideShare
 It is popular with content marketers in companies that
sell to other businesses (business-to-business). Many
in the B2B world make frequent use of PowerPoint and
Google presentations.
 is a place you can share those presentations with the
world. You can also upload videos, documents and
infographics.
 hosts the uploaded content assets in a share-friendly
way. For example, you can allow members of the
public to embed your work.

2. DocStoc
 It is more for writers and freelance professionals and also
great when finding professional content to represent your
business.
 It uses cloud hosting to help businesses develop documents
needed for their organizations to grow. They have access to
resources and productivity tools to assist different types of
establishments. By using a template from this site, you can
develop documents such as brochures, contractual
agreements, employment applications, and info-graphics. It
can access to other professional resources such as
electronic applications to acquire a business license.
 This is catered more for individuals looking to make a
purchase so it is great for companies looking to save time
and money on business development.

3. Blip.tv
 It is an online video with a strong slant toward web sodes, web
series, and other serial content. Blip encourages regular content
so quality is usually pretty high.
 It supports most video formats and has 1 GB of storage per
video. There is a pro account with better conversion rates, timed
release, HD and priority in transcode. Any user can sign up for
an advertising account that splits ad revenue 50/50. There's a
dashboard to let you plan your web series in advance, share
your videos, and use analytics. Blip also distributes through
most major video platforms (including YouTube).
 It is use if a user plans on starting a series and want a suite of
tools to help you create, manage and promote your work.

4. Vimeo
 Vimeo is the artsy cousin of YouTube. Vimeo users
usually aim for high-quality content over fails or cat
clips.
 It comes with the standard suite, plus the ability to
create and share videos to groups or channels. There's
also a video school to help users make better videos. A
pro account will let it users bump up their weekly
upload capacity from 500 MB to 5 GB with unlimited HD
uploads.
 Vimeo is a solid platform as creative outlet or are just
looking for a more constructive community (i.e. less
trolls, more feedback).

5. Flickr
 Flickr actually let users upload videos by just clicking the Explore
tab. The team still sees photo uploading as its main game, but it is
also "gently" building out its video abilities. It calls videos "long
photos" and limits their length to just 90 seconds.
 Basic users can upload two 90 seconds videos a month. Pro users
have unlimited access. Options are a little sparse at the moment,
with basically the same feature set as Flickr's photo uploads.
 Flickr may seem restrictive, but users willing to embrace short-form
video will have access to Flickr's massive and active user base. It
may not be a great option for home video collection, but video
experiments abound. Flickr's video space is going to keep growing.

6. Veoh
 Veoh let user upload enormously long videos. The site is for
long-form videos and doesn't have a size restriction for
uploading. It become a space for full-length films and short
clips alike.
 It contain the features which is unlimited upload capacity and a
smart UI that make it easy and relatively quick to load huge
files. While it may not have the same audience as YouTube,
the lack of restrictions has attracted some top-quality videos
and shows.
 It is the best bet if a user feels hamstrung by size restrictions
but still want a quality platform.

7. Yumpu
Yumpu is a great tool for content marketers and social
media advertising. It is use to turn users PDF files into e-paper.
Content marketing is more popular than ever as companies are
relying on publishing content and sharing media to produce sales
and build brand recognition. Unlike scribd mobile and Docstoc, this
site is geared toward helping freelancers share content and earn a
living rather than using content created by other freelancers.

 Yumpu has millions of published content for
readers to view and share like scibd. It focuses on
a variety of different types of content where as
scribd mobile focuses on eBooks. It can also read
magazines, brochures, and catalogs from different
companies and publishers and also can submit the
content to build your audience. Yumpu can
mention content of a user’s website or business for
viewers to stumble across. Lastly it is use to turn a
project to a best seller.

8.Viddler
 Viddler is more geared to companies and
corporations than homemade video.
 With the business focus comes business tools,
viddler let users access analytics, customize their
video players, distribute to iTunes, place
comments within the video and even monetize
with Viddler's adworks tool.
 It provides a stable starter kit with an array of
support features.

9.DailyMotion
 Dailymotion is organized more like a content aggregator and it offers
videos of varying length organized by category. There's plenty of
user-made videos, but professional, quality clips are more
prominently featured.
 supports the most common video formats but restricts storage
capacity to less than 150 MB and less than 20 minutes per video.
The emphasis is on community, with the ability to add other users in
a contact list and send feedback. Most high-powered features, like
HD uploads, are locked behind pro accounts.
 It's not the most intuitive site for uploaders, but it's easy for curious
viewers to browse. If a user can manage the backend, there's a
good chance his/her video will reach new eyes.

10. Yfrog
 Yfrog is the dark horse because it is better known as a photo-
sharing site for Twitter, but it also has the capacity for video,
with a healthy and growing selection.
 Users can upload their short videos and post to Twitter all
from one place they can also see what videos (or photos)
their network have posted using the site. There isn't much of
a search function, instead relying on news feed-style postings
as their friends upload videos.
 Yfrog let user get his/her videos up and out through his/her
social network faster than any of the sites. There may be
fewer features, but it's really about uniting your own social
community around video.

11. Issuu
 It is a virtual creative desk – publishing – and sharing. Everything is at a
single place and that too for free.
 It focuses on magazines, articles and anything that the user could

version is also available for smartphone users. The application also
allows its users to customize the look of their Issuu interface by

sports, film, and almost anything. User can go on creating articles,
essays, books, catalogs, journals and reports to presentations, photo
albums, portfolios, newspapers and manuals and they can also share
their documents with the Issuu community.
 Issuu is a helpful resource for users who enjoys reading publications.

multiple accounts which appeal to each type of user. Casual readers
can even visit the Issuu website and explore its contents without
playing or signing up.


