For my images I used a picture of Euclid, the father of geometry, and a picture of a
MacBook Pro. I began the photoshopping the picture of Euclid by adjusting the size of the photo.
The photo was much too large of a file to upload in all places. Then I altered the contrast and
increased the vibrancy of the photo; I wanted the colors in the photo to brighter. Then I decided
to fill in the parts of the photograph that were white which was the arm, cloak, and the hat. I then
decided to make him look older so I made his beard and hair whiter. Finally, I wanted to put a
modern spin and a bit of comedy to the picture so I cropped a Macbook Pro laptop out of a photo
and pasted it into the photo of Euclid. It clearly stands out as in the wrong time era so students
might find humor in it. I will be able to use this in my lesson plan when I show the students how
to form their constructions on a geometric software instead of drawing them by hand.
