2. 1. How did you use technology to create your product? I used a digital camera and a tripod to create my stop motion pieces. The use of a tripod was helpful to me as it secured the camera in a steady position so that I was able to re-adjust my set after every photo. I then uploaded my images onto the computer via a usb cable, connecting the camera to the computer. I then processed my pictures onto a black PowerPoint and changed the time between each slide to 0.02 seconds so that this would create a smooth flow throughout. Once that was completed I imported my PowerPoint onto a website called Slide share, which then enabled me to fit it onto my blog easily. By being able to use a variety of technology in this process helped me get the best quality out of my work I could, for instance the camera I took my photos on gave my pictures fine quality which made my work look more professional.
3. 2. how did the task enable you to be creative? Building a narrative - did you find it difficult? There were a few bits when I was building the narrative that I found difficult, for instance getting the image to fit into the camera lens, this could of been because it was either to big for it all to get in, and at times to small. Another thing I found difficult was moving the image around the set without it moving to obviously, so when I took my next photo it would be out of sync. How did you decide what to use? In my first video I decided it would be a good idea to use a 'Big Brother' theme this was because it was popular at the time of making and by linking it in with the latest media trend, I thought this would attract my target audience best. Whereas on my second video I thought it would be easier to just use one prop on a background as this gave made it easier for me to play with.
4. 2. how did the task enable you to be creative? Drafting - how many ideas did you have? By watching a variety of YouTube videos I had a few ideas, one of these was to create a 'love story' between two potatoes, using them as heads but I thought this wouldn't be as eye catching to my target audience. Were there any limitations? The weather was my main downfall, due to the sun coming in and out giving different types of shading and light onto my work causing to light or to dark photos.
