OVERVIEW:- The Forest Research Institute, Dehradun is a premier
institution in the field of Forestry Research in India. Established as
Imperial Forest Research Institute in 1906.
ABOUT THE BUILDING:- Built in the greek-roman style, made up
of limestone & surkhi.
AREA:- 7 acre(building) & campus-1200 acre

exhibits of various economically important tree
diseases and timber decay.
2. THE SILVICULTURE MUSEUM:-This museum displays models
and Photographs on Silvicultural Systems practised for efficient and
scientific management of the forests.
