What is Sun?
• The Sun is the gaseous star made of fire, situated far
away(around 8400 billion kilometers far) from our planet earth.
• It is a yellow dwarf star. It gives off energy as light. That
includes light, infra-red energy (heat), ultraviolet light and radio
waves. It also gives off a stream of particles, which reaches Earth
as "solar wind".
How the sun is formed?
• The Sun and the rest of the solar system formed from a giant,
rotating cloud of gas and dust called a solar nebula about 4.5
billion years ago. As the nebula collapsed because of its
overwhelming gravity, it spun faster and flattened into a disk. ...
Like all stars, the Sun will someday run out of energy.
Awesome facts about the Sun?
• The Sun is heating up, and will kill all life on Earth.
• Different parts of the Sun rotate at different speeds.
• The sun is a star, not a planet.

All about the sun.
