RehAPP is a rehabilitation application designed for hospitals and rehabilitation centers to deliver personalized rehabilitation activities and exercises to patients on mobile and web portals. It gamifies rehabilitation by rewarding patients for completing their prescribed activities. This encourages compliance and can save on additional in-office physical therapy costs by helping patients recover at home. The application collects user performance data that can help track health outcomes.

RehAPP works through mobile and web portals to deliver
a patient’s prescribed rehabilitation activities directly to
patients in mobile E-format.
RehAPP gamifies rehabilitation by rewarding patients for
completing their activity RX and being consistent with
their recovery program.

4. Benefits
Patient game rewards can be tied into an existing benefit system
or can be tied into local promotional coupons and discounts.
Doctors and hospitals can see, in real time, the activity of each
patient and modify the patient’s activity RX on a daily basis.
Current at home rehabilitation compliance is only 15-20%.
Patient’s who do not do their RX of rehabilitation exercises at
home typically require an additional 3 weeks of in office physical
therapy. We can estimate an average savings of 3 additional
weeks of office based therapy to patients and healthcare
providers.

5. Methodology
The FIX activity engine uses behavioral
techniques found in both video games and small
group clinical treatments:
Players are incrementally incentivized.
Group with a peer support network.
Team with others with similar goals.
Players are educated by doing, as opposed
to through instruction.

6. Data
Our technology platform is built to collect
data and can export user performance and
behavioral data to county health
measurements.
Data can be sorted by location and patient
demographics (age, gender, activity levels,
etc).
Data can by anonymized.

7. Other Uses
RehAPP runs on the FIX game engine. This engine
specializes in proactively delivering an end user a series
of gamified tasks aligned with their goals or needs. This
engine can also be used to:
