Internship Goal: Gain a better understanding
of marketing operations and narrow down
what I want to do moving forward
Projects
#1: Stormwater Webinar
Situation: The Water market hosted a
webinar to educate clients on stormwater
infrastructure
Task: Generate list of conference invitees
based on the desired target audience
Action: Researched and identified contact
information for the target list of invitees
and assist with the Webinar run through
Result: Delivered a list of 125 contacts for
this webinar and future events in the
water market
#2: City of Indianapolis Research
Situation: The transportation market needed to gain a better understanding of
potential business opportunities in the city of Indianapolis, whose civic website was
non-intuitive
Task: Provide the market with a breakdown of the city’s departments and key decision
makers within those departments
Action: Identified the desired information, converted it into a user-friendly format and
shared it with the marketing manager
Results: Successfully determined the organizational structure of the city and
generated a list of key contacts, fueled the sales funnel and identified new
opportunities for the transportation market
#3: Military Website Updates
Situation: Due to the new project work that the military market has completed, the
website needed to be updated to show qualifications for upcoming task order
opportunities
Task: Elevate the military webpage content by adding new and relevant project
descriptions
Action: Analyzed military portfolio to determine projects that were not currently on
the website and projects that needed updates, worked with the creative team to have
project descriptions written and graphics added
Result: Gives more visibility to clients and potential clients so they can better qualify
us for potential projects, educates internals on the military market’s area of expertise
and the types of projects the market is supporting

If I were CEO for a day, I would….
• Implement “Day in the Life” video series for each department to post on
the Intranet
Why I would do this…
• Improves visibility and understanding cross functionally at Woolpert
The benefit is…
• Breaks down internal walls and improves communication and operational
efficiencies
CEO for a Day
Result:
My suggestion inspired Woolpert to implement a similar monthly
employee spotlight series to break down internal barriers within
the company.
