1. There has been an ongoing dispute between the Spanish airport authority at Alicante and the
low budget airline Ryanair , for a long time and that dispute has still to be resolved .
However there is another argument going on with Ryanair and the fact that it had to divert flights
last July and the accusations of not carrying enough fuel were bandied about .
Now the airline has published the results of a joint Irish and Spanish government investigation
to rebut what have been called “deceitful and false ” allegations in a TV documentary on
national TV channel La Sexta .
The investigation says that the three flights diverted to Valencia did have extra fuel and fulfilled
all EU safety rules . Ryanair also supplied their fuel policy to show that pilots are allowed to
refuel as much as they want without pressure without pressure to put in less .They say that any
comments to the contrary are totally false .The Irish and Spanish governments say that Ryanair
safety is on a par with the safest in Europe .
