The dog face puffer fish is a sensitive fish found worldwide in oceans from Japan to East Africa. In aquariums, they live best at temperatures between 24-27 degrees C and eat a meaty diet of shrimp, squid, fish, clams, and crabs. They are an interesting fish that can puff up if frightened and grow up to 13 inches long, making them bold if not well-fed. Their appearance and sensitivity require careful care and feeding in aquariums.
