                      Crater Lake National Park

Hi everybody, I have a question for you. Did you know that Crater
Lake is the deepest lake in the United States? I always thought that the
deepest lake was one of the big Great Lakes but when I was looking up all
of the info I thought that was really cool. It is 1,943 ft deep! When you get
deeper into this paper you will find out all the facts on almost everything. If
you like wildlife then you will hear about some of the coolest things around
and maybe if you want to go there to visit or for a vacation I will tell you
what you can do there. I think that we should get started about now.

Now if you like animals and wildlife this is going to be the paragraph
you will want to read t aAll be some type of animal out and about. If you
like Elk in fall there is a herd that has 150 elk in it. The Elk use to be hunted
to much that there was almost no elk left in the area so they have police
that will protect any of the wild life that is not allowed to be hunted. Now the
place is so populated with deer, elk and other animals it is good that most
of the animals made a great comeback. In there lake they used to have too
many fish now there are invasive fish like the catfish. It started to eat all
the fish in the lake now there are only really two types of fish that are still
alive. Now the people who work there are telling people that they don’t
need a licences to fish in the lake because it was too highly populated.

If you can’t find anything to do I will tell you some stuff they have
there. Well if you go in the winter they have some great cross country
skiing. You also can take awesome boat tours to. There is a guide who
says all the history about the crater lake national park. There you can go
and watch some of the animals to, maybe if your lucky you will see the 150
elk herd that would be the coolest thing ever. If you like to walk in the
summer there is trails you can take all around the entire island. There is
also a cruise ship that will also take you around only in the summer. And
there is all kind of fishing to most likely you will catch rainbow trout or
catfish. You can also scuba dive but come ready because the water is very
cold even in the summer.
Now if you were wondering how it was formed I will tell you. Along
time ago there was a volcano named mount Mazama. It erupted and
created a giant shape in the ground known Crater Lake National Park. If
you are wondering why they call it crater lake it is because it looks like a
crater fell and landed right were the volcano erupted.

If you had the chance to go to the Crater Lake National Park would
you go to it? For a fact I now know that I would. Well if you like any of those
things maybe you should visit it sometime soon. I hope that you enjoyed
reading all the information about this awesome park.
