Inventory Control Department, Recoup Department and Welcome Center.
 Manage shipping, receiving and picking operations of General Mills’ products.
 Plan first shift activities based on customer priorities; quickly modify schedules to address
emergencies or special requests.
 Supervise and motivate a team of up to 60 associates daily.
 Lead daily pre-shift meetings to discuss workloads, customer issues and safety issues.
 Communicate and execute customer requirements and needs.
 Perform associate evaluations and coaching sessions. Provide feedback.
 Investigate accidents/incidents as well as other safety issues.
 Perform audits on quality of work as well as BBS audits for safety purposes.
 Perform LMS productivity audits.
 Ensure company policies are communicated, administered and enforced.
 Research various issues using the Red Prairie/DLX 2003 system. Troubleshoot and resolve
problem areas.
 Extensive knowledge of overseas export customers and shipping procedures including date critical
issues.

 Experienced in using The View as a tool to help with labor planning as well as monitoring of the
workforce and workload.

 Oversee all rail car activity at the facility and function as the main contact for Norfolk Southern
Railroad.
 Main contact for Chambersburg Waste Company and Trex Company. Insure that all recyclable
cardboard, plastic and aluminum trailers are loaded properly, removed when full and replaced with
the proper empties.
 Manage the General Mills Cargo Quilt program during the winter months ensuring that all Cargo
Quilts arriving at the facility are shipped back to the correct locations.
 Maintain the Heat Treated White Wood Pallet inventory and order when necessary.

Improvement
 Rail Car Improvement - In 2012-2013 lead team of associates in a successful Exel/General
Mills joint objective to improve the condition of all rail car loads delivered to our site,
therefore reducing damage, shifting and unloading time at a cost savings of $10K-$15K per
year.
 Auto Tasking and Interleave - In 2012 our team successfully implemented Auto Tasking,
Equipment Type Tasking and Interleaving at an approximate savings of $50K per year.
 Indirect time - helped our team drive the LMS indirect percentage from 20% to 13%.
 LMS - In 2009 worked with the management team and developers to successfully implement
the Labor Management System (LMS) and increase productivity by 10%.
 Red Prairie - In 2008 worked with the management team and trainers to successfully
implement Red Prairie 2003 (DLX) in place of the General Mills WMS system, with no
customer interruptions.
 General Mills relocation - In 2002 helped our team move the General Mills account from two
facilities totaling 800,000 sq. ft. in Mechanicsburg to a 1.4 million sq. ft facility in Palmyra.

 Trained associates on Exel General Safety Training policies.
 Trained associates on the use of the Red Prairie 2003 system and certain Microsoft

 Developed and created Safety/Accident Kits for our site containing all tools and information
necessary to investigate accidents/incidents.
