15. Commercial Design
Commercial Interior Design Was Once Referred To As Contract Design. In Fact, Many Interior Designers Still Use This
Term, Which Developed From Interior Designers Use Of Contract To Outline Services, Fees, And Responsibilities Related
To The Project.
This Challenging And Exciting Profession Has Had A Huge Impact On The Interior Design And Construction Industry In
The United States And Throughout The World.
• Historical Overview
In Earlier Centuries, Interior Spaces Created For The Wealthy And Powerful Were Designed By Architects. Business Places
Such As Inns And Shops For Lower Classes Were Most Likely “Designed” By Tradesmen And Craftsmen Or Whoever
Owned Them. Craftsmen And Tradesmen Influenced Early Interior Design As They Created The Furniture And
Architectural Treatments Of The Palaces And Other Great Structures. As Well As The Dwellings And Other Facilities For
The Lower Classes.
• Working In Commercial Interior Design
The Design Of Commercial Interiors Is Complex And Challenging. It Require Attention To Detail, Comfort With Working
Effectively As Part Of A Team, And The Ability To Work With Numerous Stakeholders – Individual Who Have A Vested
Interest In The Project, Such As Members Of The Design Teams, The Client, The Architect, And Vendors.
18. Product Designers Need To Consider All Of The Details: The Ways People Use And Abuse Objects, Faulty Products, Errors
Made In The Design Process, And The Desirable Ways In Which People Wish They Could Use Object]many New Designs
Will Fail And Many Won't Even Make It To Market. Some Designs Eventually Become Obsolete. The Design Process Itself
Can Be Quite Frustrating Usually Taking 5 Or 6 Tries To Get The Product Design Right. A Product That Fails In The
Marketplace The First Time May Be Re-introduced To The Market 2 More Times. If It Continues To Fail, The Product Is
Then Considered To Be Dead Because The Market Believes It To Be A Failure. Most New Products Fail, Even If It's A Great
Idea. All Types Of Product Design Are Clearly Linked To The Economic Health Of Manufacturing Sectors. Innovation
Provides Much Of The Competitive Impetus For The Development Of New Products, With New Technology Often
Requiring A New Design Interpretation. It Only Takes One Manufacturer To Create A New Product Paradigm To Force The
Rest Of The Industry To Catch Up - Fuelling Further Innovation. Products Designed To Benefit People Of All Ages And
Abilities—without Penalty To Any Group—accommodate Our Swelling Aging Population By Extending Independence And
Supporting The Changing Physical And Sensory Needs We All Encounter As We Grow Older.
Product Design
21. There are endless products which are being offered in the market by many businesses. From pen to a building.
Everything is a product and is being offered in the market for the ultimate consumer regardless of its size and amount.
Product design is a very broad field includes many sub fields. One of which is furniture design. Furniture refers to
movable objects intended to support various human activities such as seating, reclining, sleeping, eating, etc. Furniture
is also used to hold objects at a convenient height for work or to store things.
History of furniture:
People have been using natural objects such as tree trunk and rocks as furniture since the beginning of human
civilization. Research shows that from around 30,000 years ago people began constructing and carving their own
furniture is in the homes of Scotland, which includes cupboards. Dresses and beds all constructed from stores.
At The Dawn Of Human Civilization When The Concept Of Furniture Was Not Yet Known Men Driven Only By The Need
To Make Life Easier In A Natural Way Use Various Object Made Spontaneously By Nature. A Trunk Offertory Felt By The
Wind Or Rock Served As A Place To Sit A Flat Stone Block Served As A Base For Performing A Variety Of Common Work
And Soft Moss Or Woollen Skin Served As A Bed.
Furniture Design
22. Over The Years As A Result Of The Creative Activity Of Humans 8 Facts Begin To Be Made Which Replaced The
Spontaneously Made Object Mentioned Earlier Over The Centuries Due To The Preference Of Societies That Live In A
Given Age Their Forms Change. New Types Of Furniture Work Created That Fulfilled Specific: To Set, Lie Down, For Work,
For Dining, Storage And Others.
In Fact Forms Of Furniture Constituted Small Architecture With Legs Designed Like Columns In Other Cases They Were
Part Of Anthropomorphic Forms Of Animal Origin. Furniture Design And There Form Change From Simple To Intricate,
Depending On The Period In Which They Were Made Some Of The Oldest World Preserved And Describe Object In
Museum Collections Come From The Region Of The Former Mesopotamia Richly Gilded Furniture Constituting The
Furnishing Of Palace Interiors. The Style And Form Of Furniture Evolved Much More Quickly Than Other Form Of
Architecture Does Reflecting New Ideas And Innovative Solution Of Designers. In Many Cases However One Can
Conclude That The Functionality Of Those Structures Still Remain Impeccable And Timeless.
26. In School Children's There Is Conflict Between The Natural Tendency To Unrestricted Physical Movement And They Need
To Maintain A Seated Position For Long Period Of Time. Headache, Knee Pain ,Back Pain And Attention Defect Are
Among The Most Common Adverse Effects Of Prolonged Sitting. In Order To Reduce These Negative Effects Education
Programs In Schools Contain Many Form Of Physical Activation For Students. The Action Undertaken In This Area Only
Minimise The Effect Of Arrhenius Furniture Design. In Order To Complete Solved Problems Connected With Functionality
Of School Furniture More Effort Should Be Put Into Creating Innovative Rules Of Furniture Design. More Attention Must
Be Devoted To The Proper Economic Design Of A School Furniture.
Diversity in Designing Should Therefore Take Into Account And Promote Solutions That Only Improve The Figure But Also
Ensure Freedom And Mobile Of Both Children And Furniture.
Due To Complexity Design Problems Innovative Solution For School Furniture Should Arise Multidisciplinary Composed
And Orthopaedic Doctors, Rehabilitation Experts, Teachers, Psychologist, Constructors, Technologist, Environmentalists,
Economists And Of Course Designers

31. CONCEPT Board
After Studying Certain Aspects Took Inspiration From Geometric Shapes. As We Know Library Is An Important Source Of
Knowledge To Young Minds In Schools. It Develops The Important Habit Of Reading Among The Students. The School
Library Should Be Exciting And Welcoming And Identifiably Different From Classrooms. As A Multi-media Interactive
Learning Environment, It Motivates Pupils To Explore Resources For Curriculum Related Work And Their Personal
Interests And Stimulates Creativity. As The School Library. Along With This I Have To Design A Library Owner’s Desk.
33. STYLE Board
Contemporary Style Encompasses A Range Of Styles Developed In The Latter Half Of The 20th Century. Pieces Feature
Softened And Rounded Lines As Opposed To The Stark Lines Seen In Modern Design. Interiors Contain Neutral Elements
And Bold Colour, And They Focus On The Basics Of Line, Shape And Form. Contemporary Interiors Feature Tone-on-tone
Colour Palettes Relying Heavily On Brown, Taupe, Cream And Pure White. Shots Of Colour Are Sometimes Found On A
Single Wall, In A Striking Floor Rug Or In A Special Piece Of Art. Pieces Feature Clean Lines And Smooth Surfaces Without
Any Carving Or Adornment. Silhouettes Are Slim Without Being Dainty. Furniture Is Made Of Light-coloured Woods Such
As Maple And Birch (Which Also Have Minimal Graining), Frosted Or Clear Glass, Stainless Steel, Nickel And Chrome.
50. Designing Office Space Requires Attention To The Proper Arrangement Of Individual And Group Workstations. Firstly, The
Availability Of The Workstation Must Be Taken Into Account, I.E. The Possibility Of Free Access Of Workers To
Workstations. Office Space Is A Social And Group Space; Therefore, It Needs To Be Remembered That The Adaptation Of
Workstations In An Office Was Conductive To Proper Cooperation Between Design Teams And Members Of These Teams.
Depending On The Purpose, Office Furniture Is Designed For Individual Office Work, Construction And Designing Works,
The Work Of Groups And Problem Teams, Call Center, Training Tasks, Conferences, Individual And Collective Customer
Service.
