Commercial Interior Design Was Once Referred To As Contract Design. In Fact, Many Interior Designers Still Use This
Term, Which Developed From Interior Designers Use Of Contract To Outline Services, Fees, And Responsibilities Related
To The Project.
This Challenging And Exciting Profession Has Had A Huge Impact On The Interior Design And Construction Industry In
The United States And Throughout The World.
• Historical Overview
In Earlier Centuries, Interior Spaces Created For The Wealthy And Powerful Were Designed By Architects. Business Places
Such As Inns And Shops For Lower Classes Were Most Likely “Designed” By Tradesmen And Craftsmen Or Whoever
Owned Them. Craftsmen And Tradesmen Influenced Early Interior Design As They Created The Furniture And
Architectural Treatments Of The Palaces And Other Great Structures. As Well As The Dwellings And Other Facilities For

Product Design

There are endless products which are being offered in the market by many businesses. From pen to a building.
Everything is a product and is being offered in the market for the ultimate consumer regardless of its size and amount.
Product design is a very broad field includes many sub fields. One of which is furniture design. Furniture refers to
movable objects intended to support various human activities such as seating, reclining, sleeping, eating, etc. Furniture
is also used to hold objects at a convenient height for work or to store things.
History of furniture:
People have been using natural objects such as tree trunk and rocks as furniture since the beginning of human
civilization. Research shows that from around 30,000 years ago people began constructing and carving their own
furniture is in the homes of Scotland, which includes cupboards. Dresses and beds all constructed from stores.
At The Dawn Of Human Civilization When The Concept Of Furniture Was Not Yet Known Men Driven Only By The Need
To Make Life Easier In A Natural Way Use Various Object Made Spontaneously By Nature. A Trunk Offertory Felt By The
Wind Or Rock Served As A Place To Sit A Flat Stone Block Served As A Base For Performing A Variety Of Common Work

Learning Environment, It Motivates Pupils To Explore Resources For Curriculum Related Work And Their Personal
Interests And Stimulates Creativity. As The School Library. Along With This I Have To Design A Library Owner’s Desk.

Contemporary Style Encompasses A Range Of Styles Developed In The Latter Half Of The 20th Century. Pieces Feature
