Professional Experience
Prime MD — Columbia, MD
Practice Administrator / Medical Technician 05/12-Present
Beginning in the Fall of 2011, I brought my patient care experience into a private Internal Medicine
practice. My duties were the typical vaccinations, recording vital signs and other clinical roles. I realized
inefficiencies in the patient intake process and brought my Emergency Room experience in to overhaul the
process enabling the practice to reduce wait times before care was provided which ultimately led to
increased revenues from being able to treat more patients during the day. We then adopted
eClinicalWorks as our Electronic Medical Record System where I played a key role in the adoption,
implementation and deployment of the system. My duties culminated rather quickly into an Administrator
position where I handled all the responsibilities of the Operations of the practice.
Versatile – From Clinical support to Operations, I consistently turned the practice around to provide
positive patient outcomes as well as increased revenue.
Workflow – using my ER experience, I increased the bottom line revenues by 25% enabling our patient
load to increase with an EMR in place (which typically reduces the patient load by the same percentage).
Clinical HIT Adoption – well versed in the utilization of Technology to provide higher levels of care; a clear
understanding on how to leverage change and to promote outcomes.
Administration – an Understanding in the Business side (Revenue, Cost, Inefficiencies, Resources) of Clinical
Operations.
Medical Standards – High Level insight on Diagnostic and Procedural Codes (ICD, SNOMED).
Healthcare Payers – Healthcare Insurance eligibility, reimbursements, and process.
Technology – Familiar with Platforms (NextGen, eClinicalWorks, Meditech/LSS).

Pharmaceutical Sales 04/11 – 05/2012
As a Pharmaceutical Sales Representative, my business was conducted over the phone and face-to-face.
The duties included prospecting and qualifying clients very quickly and a persistent effort in pursuing
opportunities on a daily basis. The creation and presentation of the complete sales package detailing how
our medications enable my prospects to accomplish their personal lifestyle goals completes a solid sales
pitch prior the closing. Maintaining the highest closing is a testimony of my ability to generate, qualify,
and close prospective business from start to finish over the sales cycle.
Prospected, Qualified and Sold to patients based on health goals over the phone and through
appointments at their home or in the clinic.
Medical Background – leveraged my understanding of Medicine and Healthcare to promote lifestyle
changes through our Drugs and treatment programs.
Managed 5 Digit Pipelines and hit my Quarterly Targets and maximized commissions/profits.
Clinical Technician 04/11 – 05/2012
My clinical work with Quince Orchard was based heavily on Pain Management. From start to finish, I had
to monitor the patient progress with Scheduled II-V Medications and watch out for potential abuse. Given
the fact that I worked very closely with Controlled Substances, the highest level of compliance and
security was needed to satisfy the DEA. My oversight was on the Clinical Support department where I
managed Physician Assistants and Patient Outcomes.
DEA Schedule II-V Medications – handling and administering Narcotic medications to ensure safe and
compliant delivery.
Compliance – Kept patients in compliance with treatment programs and promoted positive outcomes
through study, research and monitoring.
Emergency Response – Provided ambulatory medical support to inpatient resources on Medical Records
Management in the event of life threatening situations.
