The first airboat was invented in 1943 in Utah to protect wildlife. It had a flat-bottomed vessel shape and was powered by a 40-horsepower aircraft engine. Airboats can operate in shallow waters and are commonly used for transportation, ecotourism, fishing, and hunting. Later developments included adding electronic speed controllers to allow airboats to drive backwards.

2.  In 1943, The World first airboat was invented
by Cecil Williams Leo Young, and G.Hortin
Jensen in Utah near Brigham City. The
purpose of this invention of the airboat is to
protect wild life of bird refuge. So, there is
no seat for air boat driver. This air boat was
used 40 horsepower continental aircraft
engine. Another name of the Air Boat is
Swamp Boat.


3.  The shape of the airboat is flat-bottomed
vessel. The airboat engine must use an
aircraft-type or automotive engine with
aircraft-type propeller. The airboat can drive
on shallow swamps, in canals, lakes, and
river, as well as frozen lakes. The design of
the airboats also makes it that can drive in
ice rescue operation. Airboat is one kind of
transportation vehicle. The airboats are
usually used for ecotourism, fishing, and
hunting.


11.  4 Channel RC Remote and Receiver
This remote frequency have 2.4 Ghz
transmitter. It is aim for the Hobby and student
project. It is also called TX. This transmitter is
transmitting to the receiver RX. The Receiver
RX receiving the signals from the transmitter
TX. This remote power supply is four AA
Batteries. This radio control remote can
control 4 outputs because of it have 4
channels.

15.  The servo is used for the rudder of the
airboat. It includes small dc motor, angle
sensor, gear for turning, circuit control
sensor, power supply and signal wire.

18. The brushless motors are suitable for radio
control air boat, the high power and
efficiency. There are two kinds of brushless
motor. There are as following Inrunner and
outrunner.
