automobile as these add pollutants along a

• Stationary sources is an industrial unit
which adds pollutant to air at particular
point form their chimneys. It affects only
to restricted areas.
• Power plants, Oil refineries, Factories.

• Town & Cities add smoke and gases over
wide areas and so it is called as area sources
of air pollution.
• Agricultural areas, Cities, Wood burning
fireplaces.

• This sources pollutes the environment in
very scale, it is base on the natural
occurance or natural disturbance.
• Wind-blown dust, Volcanoes.
