electronically, appropriate reference need to be made.
CHAPTER I
This bookis written in 2 sections.
The first section deals with different kinds of human emotions and lack of emotional
fulfillment probably in childhood and adulthood, leading to different kinds of
emotional dependencies.
When people are brought up with ideal set of living conditions from childhood, as
they grow up, they tend to keep balanced emotional state of mind and emotional
dependency will be less.
The second section deals with how AI could be implemented on the EI and Dos and
Don’ts for the AI design.
The mix of emotions
Humans are a blend of emotions.
The bestperceived emotion in self is: Happiness, Anger, Fear, Sadness
Excluding some other emotions like fear and disgust which are not revelent for this
book.
Each emotional state brings some learning and creativity to the person and all the
emotions are important to be realised.
The happiest personis not the one who always tries to be happy or have the emotion
of happiness all the time.
Some of the emotions are conscious and triggered due to events in life and some are
subconscious triggered.
If an emotion is Consciuosly triggered or subconscious triggered, the responceis
either reacting to the situation or thinking about solving what is causing the emotion.
The bestperceived emotion in others is: happiness.
EmotionalEmptiness
The constant thought process ofcraving for some emotional bondage with other
humans or animals or non-living things that beings a sense of happiness.
How much emotionally empty are you depends on how much you were deprived with
that perticular emotion mostly in childhood.
The more the emptiness, the higher the craving. When we find that emotion is being
fulfilled, the craving becomes still more. A cyclic process.
Could that emotional emptiness be ever filled?
It takes very long time to fill the emotional emptiness onceconducive atmosphere is
prevailed.
Emotional Emptiness is not related to depression. Depression or guilt are self induced
feelings or constant thought process fromwithin and Emotional Emptiness is constant
thought process dueto the family, society or due to a person.
The mind blockages
Human Relations and EI help
Balanced human relations creates conducive enviornment to develop capabilities to
deal with all the emotions and respond with appropriate thought and action than
reacting to the situation or emotion.
Emotional Intelligence gives the thought process to think about what emotions are
deprived in others and deal with them and help them to deal with themselves.
Emotional Intelligent personknows what emotion to bring in the personto deal with
the situation.
Humans in most situations need to be dealt empathically, than showing mere
sympathy. The knowledge of how to deal with the real emotions of a personin any
perticular situation could be termed as Emotional Intelligence of the person.
Pentup Emotions and Emotional Bondages
If same set of negative emotions like disgust, guilt, fear or anger are realised over a
very prolonged period of time, the persongets used to exercising only that emotion
for every situation.
Person might start reacting to the situations due to the emotional trigger than thinking
and logical reasoning for the situation.
This kind of pentup emotions or emotional bondages makes the person disliked and
might lead to social isolation.
The Human Limitations
Humans are very limited with proessing the information at a given time and other
factors like reaction or fear happens much more faster than logical thinking.
Logical thinking to take a very small decision takes milliseconds and fear or reaction
happens in microseconds.
By the time even logical thinking starts, already fear might have acted to fight or
flight or already reacted to the situation.
The ThoughtProcess
Human Stubborness
The SocialExperiment
CHAPTER II
AI for EmotionalIntelligence
What kind of AI would be able to emotionally communicate with humans and keep
growing intelligence with time.
EmotionalBackoff
AI knows when to backoff.
words like pleasee, noo, silense, come back again, are you serious and so on makes it
to backoff.
AI on EI knows exactly when to backoff by offering a very dynamic talk or UI
interface and in keeping stable emotions based on the personality of the people.
AI knows to be polite
AI proves itself in polite manner and is helping humnas than proving itself
AI should be able to differentiate when a person is reactingand when
they are answering.
We might not realise that we are reacting to the situation than actually thinking ans
answering. This may go on for hours are sometimes never realized. Based on the
conditioning, perticular words trigger perticular emotions and we start reacting. Mind
is hijacked and we dont keep sense of what will be the outcome of our actions or
speechat that time.
The human and AI are not working as a team, AI is working to give better user
experience to humans.
EIMessenger
1) Suggesting Emojis
2) Suggesting emotional backoff
3) AI on EI Chat bot could become humnas Virtual Assistant to communicate on day
to day basis from the learning of the human personality.
4) AI on EI Chat bot only brings the best of emotions by learning their abilities and
helping them to reduce their emotions like disgust, saddness, mood swings.
5) AI on EI chat bot could one day save lifes of people who are depressed.
EIAssistant
1) knows lot of proverbs and timing of their utilization
2) Deals with statistics and probabilities
3) Always proves itself to be right based on the keeping a perfect balance between
proving itself and still being respectful
4) Know all the human sensitivities.
