This document provides a template for analyzing a work by agreeing or disagreeing with quotes from the text. For agreeing, the template asks the reader to choose two relevant quotes, cite them with page numbers, and explain their interpretation of why they agree with evidence or reasoning. For disagreeing, it prompts the same process but for quotes the reader questions or disagrees with, explaining their reasons for disagreeing. The template is adapted from the book They Say I Say by Gerald Graf and Cathy Birkenstein.
