This document summarizes lessons learned from initial trials of EduFeedr, a tool for aggregating student blogs in MOOCs. Key findings include: (1) comments feeds are not always easily located, (2) linking posts to assignments can be challenging, and (3) only recent items are included in syndication feeds. Future work aims to improve aggregation across services and provide visualization widgets for external sites. EduFeedr was developed as an open source Elgg plugin to support distributed learning across Web 2.0 applications.
