After launching a new exhibition, the Computer History Museum evaluated the content and learning of visitors. The evaluation looked at who the visitors were, the main curatorial messages about the history and ongoing impact of computing revolution, and what makes CHM's approach to helping visitors understand principles of STEM disciplines through technology different. As part of this approach, CHM held workshops for high school students to collaborate, define problems to solve with technology, and pitch solutions learning from the historical examples in the exhibition. A new grant will transform the 2 hour workshop into a semester-long distance learning program between schools in California and Mexico.
