The document describes the 6 stages the author took to edit a photo using Adobe Photoshop Elements 8 and Microsoft Word. In stage 1, the author opened the photo and selected "Quick edit". In stage 2, the author adjusted the midtone contrast, highlights, and color. In stage 3, the author sharpened the image. In stage 4, the author pasted the edited photo into Word. In stage 5, the author adjusted the brightness and contrast. In stage 6, the author changed the color temperature to achieve a peach tone. Before and after pictures are shown.

1. Using Photoshop Adobe Elements 8 I Clicked on the photo I wanted to edit
via the open file.
Because I didn’t want to make much of a change to the images itself I
clicked on “Quick edit”. (Stage 1)
From here , I changed the midtone contrast from 0 to 48. I did the same for
darkening the highlights (0 to 8) and the same again for the colour (0 to
29). This made the image look more directory.(stage 2)
I also sharpened the image to make it look less blurred and more refined
to bring out areas such as her hair and eye colour. (0 to 8) (stage 3)
Then, using Microsoft word I pasted the image and used the colour and
corrections to edit the image itself further which helped me achieve the
peach colour for the figures skin tone as well as background. (stage 4)
However, to achieve this I clicked on corrections and selected the second
to last on the row (Brightness:0% (Normal) Contrast: +20%) ( Stage 5)
Finally I changed the colour to a peach type colour by clicking on colour
and selecting (Temperature: 80000 k) (Stage 6)
