This document summarizes an AD Lab software product that allows forensic analysts and other users to collaborate on investigations of large data sets. Key features include:
- Enabling examiners to work together and share case data through a centralized, web-based platform for storage, processing and review.
- Providing role-based access and permissions to securely manage access to cases and evidence for different users.
- Supporting simultaneous collaboration and a "divide and conquer" approach to speed up investigation through distributed analysis.
HOMOMORPHIC AUTHENTICABLE RING SIGNATURE MECHANISM FOR PUBLIC AUDITING ON SHA...Journal For Research
With cloud storage services, it is commonplace for data to be not only stored in the cloud, but also shared across multiple users. However, public auditing for such shared data  while preserving identity privacy remains to be an open challenge. In this paper, we propose the first privacy-preserving mechanism that allows public auditing on shared data stored in the cloud. In particular, we exploit ring signatures to compute the verification information needed to audit the integrity of shared data. With our mechanism, the identity of the signer on each block in shared data is kept private from a third-party auditor (TPA), who is still able to publicly verify the integrity of shared data without retrieving the entire file. Our experimental results demonstrate the effectiveness and efficiency of our proposed mechanism when auditing shared data.
Fusion of data from multiple sources is generating new information from existing data. Now users can access any information from inside or outside of the organization very easily. It helps to increase the user productivity and knowledge shared within the organization. But this leads to a new area of network security threat, “Inside Threat”. Now users can share critical information of organization to outside the organization if he/she has access to the information. The current network security tool cannot prevent the new threat. In this paper, we address this issue by “Building real time anomaly detection system based on users’ current behavior and previous behavior”.

Cloud environment supports data sharing between multiple users. Data integrity is violated
due to hardware / software failures and human errors. Data owners and public verifiers are involved to
efficiently audit cloud data integrity without retrieving the entire data from the cloud server. File and
block signatures are used in the integrity verification process.
“One Ring to RUle Them All” (Oruta) scheme is used for privacy-preserving public auditing process. In
oruta homomorphic authenticators are constructed using Ring Signatures. Ring signatures are used to
compute verification metadata needed to audit the correctness of shared data. The identity of the signer
on each block in shared data is kept private from public verifiers. Homomorphic authenticable ring
signature (HARS) scheme is applied to provide identity privacy with blockless verification. Batch
auditing mechanism supports to perform multiple auditing tasks simultaneously. Oruta is compatible
with random masking to preserve data privacy from public verifiers. Dynamic data management process
is handled with index hash tables. Traceability is not supported in oruta scheme. Data dynamism
sequence is not managed by the system. The system obtains high computational overhead
The proposed system is designed to perform public data verification with privacy. Traceability features
are provided with identity privacy. Group manager or data owner can be allowed to reveal the identity of
the signer based on verification metadata. Data version management mechanism is integrated with the

Data integrity is a significant measures in cloud storage. Storage outsourcing is a growing tendency which prompts a number of exciting security concerns, numerous of which have been widely inspected. Provable Data Possession (PDP) is the only the area that has recently seemed in the research literature. The chief concern is how frequently, efficiently as well as securely authenticate that a storage server is genuinely packing outsourced client’s data. The objective is to present a model for PDP that permits a client to store data on untrusted server to authenticate that the server holds the unique data without regaining it. The client reserves a constant quantity of metadata for the proof authentication. The challenge or response protocol connects a small amount of constant data, which reduces network communication. Accordingly, the PDP model for isolated data analysis supports prodigious data sets in extensively distributed storage systems.
