This study aims to reduce gait disabilities in individuals with Parkinson's disease (PD) who have a history of freezing of gait (FOG) through a home-based stationary bike exercise program. Thirty individuals with PD will participate, with 15 having a history of FOG. Participants will complete testing both off and on medication and then exercise 3 times per week for 3 months via telemedicine-monitored stationary biking. Testing will be repeated after to compare results between the two groups and the general and FOG populations. The goal is that regular exercise will decrease gait disabilities and motor symptoms in PD patients.

This paper presents research on the effects of intermittent hypoxic training on an endurance athlete. The researchers evaluated a 28-year old elite race walker over 21 days of hypoxic training sessions. Knee angle ranged from 65 degrees during slow walking to 69 degrees during fast walking. Step and stride lengths were longer when walking with footwear compared to without. An aquatic exercise program improved muscular strength, endurance, work and power in patients with multiple sclerosis. For the lower extremities, knee extensor peak torque significantly increased from pre- to mid-trial. Fatigue and work values improved significantly from pre- to post-trial. For the upper extremities, all force measurements significantly increased from pre- to post-trial. Power and total work values also improved significantly, though no significant change in fatigue was found. The results indicate aquatic exercise can induce positive changes to muscular functioning for individuals with multiple sclerosis.

This study examined the impact of a specific fitness training package and yogic practices on fasting blood sugar and post-meal blood sugar levels in 45 male type 2 diabetes patients. The patients were randomly assigned to 3 groups: a fitness training group, a yogic practices group, and a control group. Both exercise groups participated in 45-minute sessions 6 days a week for 90 days, while the control group did not train. Fasting and post-meal blood sugars were measured before and after the intervention. Results showed that both exercise groups significantly decreased fasting and post-meal blood sugars compared to the control group, and the yogic practices group saw greater decreases than the fitness training group.

ABSTRACT: Maintaining effort capacity is one of the goals pursued in adult physical education. Sedentary people have difficulty in sustaining an effort that is considered to be withing the usual intensity. They should receive training exercise because they have lost the physical ability through a bad conduct of life. In this research we started from the hypothesis that the use in the physical education lesson of motion games, which involves sustained efforts, will lead to a much faster increase of the students’ effort capacity. Dynamic games will determine the students to participate with greater interest and pleasure in lessons, and this will result in improved effort due to their active involvement. The goal was to highlight that motion games can also be used with success in the case of young people. The attractiveness and dynamism that characterizes the games determines the students to be more active and more involved in practicing physical exercise. The experiment was conducted on a group of 18 students from the second year of study at Faculty of Economic Sciences and Public Administration, at „Ştefan cel Mare” University of Suceava. The control group was formed from 18 students in the second year, the same specialization in another study group. The experiment was conducted over a period of 4 months (October 2018 – February 2019).

This study investigated the relationship between body fat percentage and physical fitness performance among 30 male basketball players aged 19-25 who participated in intervarsity games. The AAHPER test was used to measure physical fitness, while the Jackson & Pollock equation was used to determine body fat percentage. Pearson's correlation found a significant relationship between higher body fat percentage and lower physical fitness performance. ABSTRACT: Maintaining effort capacity is one of the goals pursued in adult physical education. Sedentary people have difficulty in sustaining an effort that is considered to be withing the usual intensity. They should receive training exercise because they have lost the physical ability through a bad conduct of life. In this research we started from the hypothesis that the use in the physical education lesson of motion games, which involves sustained efforts, will lead to a much faster increase of the students’ effort capacity. Dynamic games will determine the students to participate with greater interest and pleasure in lessons, and this will result in improved effort due to their active involvement. The goal was to highlight that motion games can also be used with success in the case of young people. The attractiveness and dynamism that characterizes the games determines the students to be more active and more involved in practicing physical exercise. The experiment was conducted on a group of 18 students from the second year of study at Faculty of Economic Sciences and Public Administration, at „Ştefan cel Mare” University of Suceava. The control group was formed from 18 students in the second year, the same specialization in another study group. The experiment was conducted over a period of 4 months (October 2018 – February 2019).

This study investigated the relationship between body fat percentage and physical fitness performance among 30 male basketball players aged 19-25 who participated in intervarsity games. The AAHPER test was used to measure physical fitness, while the Jackson & Pollock equation was used to determine body fat percentage. Pearson's correlation found a significant relationship between higher body fat percentage and lower physical fitness performance. Education, Health education and Sports subjects from different colleges affiliated to Manipur University were
selected for this investigation. The Selection of the subjects was done purely on the basis of the specific purpose
of the study and had certain level of physical proficiency so that all the subjects could perform all the variable
test items of the study. After systematically analysed the data of the study it was found that the selected
influencing measurement factors has been affected the reliability of the selected physical proficiency test.

The purpose of this study was to compare the selected physical fitness variables of the Physical
Education Professional students participated in the different competition levels. To achieve the purpose,
eighty three male physical education students studying B.P.Ed. Courses at Alvas B.P.Ed. Moddigere and
General Kariyappa B.P.Ed. College Shimogga during 2015 with age ranging 18-25 were selected at
random. They had their credit in participating Intercollegiate, South Zone and All India competitions.
The physical fitness variables selected for the study were the Shoulder Strength (Pull ups in nos.);
Abdominal Strength (Sit ups in nos.); Agility (Shuttle Run in secs.); Speed (50 meters dash in secs.);
Explosive Power (Standing Broad Jump in meters) and Cardiovascular Endurance (600 Meters Run/Walk
in minutes). One-way analysis of variance (ANOVA) was used to find out the significant difference
among different disciplines. Further the Scheffe’s Post Hoc test was used to find the significant
difference in paired mean scores. It was concluded that there was a significant difference in the Pull Ups,
Sit Ups and Speed of the Physical Education Professional students participated in the different
competition levels. A better understanding of these relationships will help to understand the power and
endurance and also help to plan sport specific strength training at South Zone, All India and National
level athletes.

difference between the 3 groups (initial, mid and post test) of state level football players F test was employed at
0.05 significance level. And to determine the training effect the t test for comparison mean was employed for
two tails at the confidence level 0.05 level of significant.
The comparative between the initial and post test of dynamic flexibility test, side split flexibility test and
shoulder and wrist elevation flexibility test for the state level football players were found to be statistically
significant at .05 confidence level as the values 10.676, 10.003 and 10.102 respectively were found greater than

This article examines the impact of plyometric training on physical fitness variables among ball badminton players. 30 male ball badminton players between 18-25 years of age were randomly assigned to an experimental or control group. The experimental group underwent 6 weeks of plyometric training while the control group received no training. Testing was conducted before and after the training period to assess muscular endurance and speed. Statistical analysis found significant improvements in muscular endurance and speed for the experimental group compared to the control group, supporting the hypothesis that plyometric training positively impacts physical fitness variables important for ball badminton performance.

Comparison of postexercise nutrition
This document summarizes a study that compared the post-exercise nutrition knowledge and practices of masters (≥50 years) and younger (≤30 years) triathletes in Australia. The study found that over 40% of triathletes did not know the recommended post-exercise carbohydrate and protein intake amounts. Both groups consumed inadequate carbohydrate after exercise compared to recommendations, with masters triathletes consuming significantly less carbohydrate and energy than younger triathletes.
