This document is the curriculum vitae of Dr. Adelere Ezekiel Adeniran. It summarizes his educational background, earning a B.Sc. in Civil Engineering in 1982, M.Sc. in Mechanic Engineering in 1997, and Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering in 2007. It also lists his professional experience, primarily as a lecturer and researcher at the University of Lagos since 2008, as well as previous roles in water management and engineering. Finally, it provides details of his publications, honors received, and areas of computer literacy and expertise.
Putting into consideration most of the dynamics of Water production costs, the SD approach is used in determining the Unit cost of water production. It is hoped that the model will assist Water Companies, Water Supply Agencies and Board to price water in an economic manner.
Water Hyacinth as Renewable Energy SourceShafiul Munir
This poster is about the possible uses of Water Hyacinth as a renewable energy source to serve as a solution in the existing energy crisis in 3rd-World countries.

Based on the example of Appleton Farms, America’s oldest working farm and a commercial- scale vegetable and dairy operation, we will present the farm’s detailed carbon-counting model, review the specific measures used to eliminate it’s carbon footprint and then facilitate an interactive discussion on ways to engage the public in sustainability.
Rising To The Challenge: Toward Carbon Neutral BuildingsTom Hootman
Presentation given at the 2009 Eco El Paso Conference. Presentation includes building blocks for carbon neutral design and a few case studies. A good primer for the 2030 Challenge.
Pollotion is a risk that has, unfortunately, become an issue in most parts of the world; especially the developing world. The slides presented here are the summary of a study carried out to determine the effect of the use of Water hyacinth as Alternative and cheap treatment option for domestic sewage.
Samir Khanal, Professor of Biological Engineering Molecular Biosciences and Bioengineering at UHM, describes an integrated approach in converting biomass into biofuel and biobased products. Slides from the REIS seminar series at the University of Hawaii at Manoa on 2009-10-22.
The presentation describes the importance of carbon neutral neighborhood discussions/ consultations for ecological audit, transforming consumption, leisure, production for personal and collective well being. Carbon-neutral leisure is the best way we can reduce the emission of green house gases.
A recent presentation given by Peter Harrison, CEO of AFS, at the Cleantech Investor Future Transport Challenge event. Companies in the most innovative parts of the transport industry made 'Dragon's Den' style pitches to a panel of investors at the conference, which was chaired by journalist and television presenter Quentin Willson.
AFS was presented the challenge winner award at the evening reception by Patrick Head, co-founder of Williams Formula 1, who noted that there had been a high standard of participants, but that AFS was the ‘clear winner’.
