Copyright TR ControlSolutions Ltd 2019 Justification According to GIRI (getitright.uk.com/): …..estimates of total costs of error ranging between 10% and 25% of project cost or between £10–25Bn per annum across the sector GIRI research found that the most frequently reported root causes of error were: Management and Planning (including inadequate supervision) Communications (including a reluctance to ask questions) Taking our cue from manufacturing industry, where efforts are focused on prevention rather than detection, and combining it with the above, our project is focused on the prevention of errors by improving understanding of the tasks to be performed
