This module focuses on using the present continuous tense to describe situations. Students will learn vocabulary related to seasons, weather, sports, and common responses. They will practice forming present continuous statements, questions, and responses. Assignments include leaving phone messages giving exercise advice, accessing a presentation on the tense, making a powerpoint with pictures and descriptions, and recording voice descriptions of the pictures. Students will be evaluated based on forum participation, assignments, a final project, and online homework. Resources include a powerpoint, pictures, and the textbook Touchstone 1.
