The Action for Rural Rejuvenation (ARR) initiative is a comprehensive program aimed at improving health and quality of life for the rural poor in Tamil Nadu through medical aid, community support, and indigenous health practices. Established by Isha Foundation in 2003, ARR encompasses mobile health clinics, health awareness camps, and community sports to enhance overall wellness and resilience in rural areas. By March 2011, the program had reached over 3 million villagers across multiple districts, addressing urgent health needs and promoting sustainable living practices.
