drinking. They go long distance to collect water from streams which far from their
village/houses. The water is having a lot of calcium and fluoride contents. Many people are
affected with sicknesses borne by water. They bones are weak. Some are born blind, some have
T. B., some have got Malaria and Typhoid. They become feeble and limb. So we felt sad seeing
them. We planned to collect some funds for them so that we may be able to dig bore wells and if
possible to buy a water purifying machine for drinking water.

19. DISABLED HOME
We have about 68 disabled children in our institute. They are coming from a poor
economic background. Many parents do not have sufficient means to take care of them.
Some of those children were just left in the streets. The parents left them hoping that they
will beg in the streets and live. Some children do not know who their parents are. Our
government is not concerned much about this kind of children. We do not have a
government machinery to take care of such children. Some children are forced to beg in the
streets. Some are left at riversides, near temple areas, public bus stations, railway stations,
etc. They live at the mercy and kindness of the passersby. They spend nights in cold
weather without proper shelter. Our society is collecting such kind of children.
Local people inform us if they find such disabled children. Since we are known to have an
institute for such children, they will contact us and inform us. We will go and pick them up
and keep them in our institute.
We are giving them meals and giving them some medical treatment. Since they are many,
at times we are finding difficult to support them. We are depending on donors. We want
more donors from abroad so that these unfortunate children can be fed well. There are also
other needs like clothes, physiotherapy, medical treatments, etc. We are seeking the help of
some donors.
We are very much worried about the safety girl disabled children. Because they are at the
risk of being molested or raped by some miscreants, begging boys, etc. Their lives will be
ruined and they will suffer psychologically. Some get pregnant too and deliver children.
Some die due to psychological trauma and tensions. We are taking care of such children.
At present we are facing a lot of problems financially to support these children. So may we
seek some help from philanthropist and kindhearted people. Please come forward to help
so that we may support those children and feed them well with good care and concern.

21. Orphans:
In our society there are many orphans. We are taking care of orphans coming from tribal and
agency areas. These orphans do not know who their parents are. In the forest area where we are
serving, some business people pay visits to buy and sell goods. Since the forest people are poor,
the girls are attracted by these business people. These business people go to forest to buy wood,
tamarind, forest goods, etc. They make false promises to these girls. They promise to marry
them. Hoping to have a bright future, the girls will yield to them. These girls are being used by
these business people. They get pregnant and then they are left to their fate. The business people
will disappear leaving the girls. These girls deliver children and then they throw the babies into
some dustbins, public places, bus stands, bushes, near lakes, at temple places, etc., because they
are poor and not able to take care of them. It is also shameful to have such children without
marriage. So these children are collected by some philanthropists and good people. But in some
cases they are left totally unattended. We are very much concerned about such children. We are
picking up such children and supporting them.
We are seeking support from some donors. Please come forward to support us so that these
orphans may be supported well.
We are giving them motherly and fatherly love. We are providing food, shelter, clothes, etc., for
these children. These children should not feel that they have no one to depend on. We are
fulfilling their psychological needs.
So may we request to support us with whatever you can.
Would you like to be a mother or father to our children? If so, please come forward. At least
support us partially to buy a pair dress, clothes, or support till he is able to make his living. God
will bless you abundantly for your sacrifices. You can reduce or sacrifice one day entertainment
to support our orphan children, at least one child.
Note: If anybody wants to adopt any child with the permission of the government, you are most
welcome.
