This document describes a project to develop an accident avoidance system for ramming machines. The system uses an IR transmitter and receiver to detect if an object gets too close to the machine, which will then trip a relay to stop the machine and sound an alarm. A vibration sensor and earth fault detector are also used to monitor vibrations and faults that could indicate issues. The system aims to make the machines safer for operators through quick response times and simple construction, while reducing accidents during maintenance as well. Its applications include heavy cutting machines, ramming machines, and foundries.
