2. UHS was conceived and constructed based on the vision of
His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan Bin Mohammed Al Qasimi and was completed in
2010 and opened to patients in June 2011.

16. • Launched earlier this year, initially with five dialysis machines, the unit will eventually house
12 stations that will be able to treat 24 patients daily in two shifts.

failure in the UAE

hearing loss.
• UHS has Cochlear Implant Unit as well as Hearing Aid Clinic, offering a “one-stop
