Before I can elaborate on my specific achievements over the years, I would look to shed some light
on my educational background. I completed my Bachelors in Software Engineering from Osmania
University, Hyderabad (India), which is one of the reputed Engineering institutions in the country. I
was fortunate to secure a position amongst the meritorious students under the able guidance of our
esteemed professors. Post completing my engineering, I felt a degree in MBA would give me the
edge that I needed to excel in this competitive world as I felt that I could excel in both technical and
management positions by acquiring the required knowledge. So, I applied and got admission in a
reputed University in the United States of America. My experience at the university was fantastic and
the exposure to global culture that I got was invaluable in my academic growth. I graduated with a
very good GPA and stood as a class topper. I wanted to get back to India as it was my home country
and join a reputed organization for a prosperous career. I got an opportunity as Project Manager for
US based healthcare giant called Allscripts where I have been working to date for 5 years now. My
significant achievements amongst others include being included in the Allscripts Hall of fame for
excellent client experience that we provided for a very reputed US based client. My team delivered a
system that enabled client to handle their day to day operations not only effectively but also with more
efficiency and reduced costs. Other noted achievement for another client was as per the client
comments, “The best upgrade we’ve had since we went live in 2007 on v11.0”. Other client
comments for my team included:
• “Allscripts upgrade team understood the product and were well trained on it.
This was an improvement from the past, and the best internal product
knowledge PCP has seen to date.
• Communications were flawless. The best part about working with the upgrade
team was that every meeting was productive. Upgrade times were met,
questions were answered, and the overall attitude and professionalism of the
upgrade team was notably better than what PCP had experienced in the past.
• Allscripts quickly resolved any minor issues that PCP experienced, and no
large issues arose. Michael said, “We didn’t run into any major obstacles from
an Allscripts personnel perspective, or any major technology issues.”
Our collaboration with this particular client resulted in the project window dropping from 8 to 6 weeks
and the smooth rollout resulted in the project coming in 30% under budget.
