 A sustainable micro grid located on the
roadside in order to supply the on-road
charging of electric vehicles.
 Green energy is used to supply the
sustainable micro grid.
 Both a stand-alone and a grid-connected
micro grid are used.
 The trend in transport nowadays is a
transition from petrol-fueled mobility to
electric mobility.
 The main drawbacks is that electric vehicles
have in comparison with conventional vehicle
are the limited driving range and battery.
 The design of on-road charging systems in
order to extend the driving range and
decrease the EV battery size .
 (CPT)refers to a system where power can be
transferred electro-magnetically with no
physical contact.
Dc micro grid configuration
 In the stand-alone mode of operation, the
storage system apart from providing power
balance is also responsible for providing
voltage regulation at the DC bus.
 A converter is used for these purposes, which
has to be bi-directional for power flow to or
from the battery during charging or
discharging respectively
 In case a connection to the grid is
established, then the storage can become
smaller and the excess power produced can
be sold to the grid

  • 3.  A sustainable micro grid located on the roadside in order to supply the on-road charging of electric vehicles.  Green energy is used to supply the sustainable micro grid.  Both a stand-alone and a grid-connected micro grid are used.
