The document describes a switched-capacitor bidirectional DC-DC converter proposed for electric vehicles with hybrid energy sources. The converter has advantages of a wide voltage gain range, reduced number of components, low voltage stress, and common ground. A 300W prototype validated the wide voltage gain range from 40-100V input to 300V output, with maximum efficiencies of 94.45% and 94.39% in step-up and step-down modes. Experimental results validated the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed topology.
