2. Annual General Meeting of Forum For Pharmacy ( FoP )

3. Forum For Pharmacy member's participating in the KU IT MEET 2017 and
have checked Blood Pressure, Body mass Index ( BMI ) and pulse pressure .

4. CAREER GUIDANCE SEMINAR

5. • Two Days Career Guidance Program was organized by Forum For
Pharmacy ( FoP ) , Kathmandu University at CV Raman Auditorium
by inviting different legends of pharmacy profession of Nepal.
• Prof. Dr Panna Thapa who is the current Exam Controller of
Kathmandu university focused on the career in Academic sector.
• Mr. Jay Bir Karmacharya , Factory Operation Manager of Omnica
Pharmaceutical Limited focused the career on Production, QA , QC
and Research & Developement .
• Mr. Chain Kumar Bajracharya , hospital pharmacist of kathmandu
model hospital stressed on the better career in hospital sector’s.
• Dr. Prakash Gyawali, ayurveda scientist and officer of regulatory
body of Nepal focuses about the career in Herbal and Ayurvedic
Sector.
• Mr. Ajay Panday , general manager of national health care
pharmaceutical limited describes a career in the Marketing Field (
MR, PMT, PDO, Brand Manager, Regulatory Affair’s )

16. Celebration of World Aids Day
• Under this slogan “Hate the disease, but not
the diseased” FoP have organized World Aids
Day at KU Premises by tying ribbons ,joining in
the peace march, candle lightning, Flash Mob,
Face painting.

17. FoP have organized various program to mark World Aids Day on 1st December
2017. This program includes spreading awarness, Dart games , Flash mob,
Ribbon distribution and Face painting.

34. Registration to IPSF ( International
Pharmaceutical Student Federation )
• Application of Forum For Pharmacy ( FoP ), was accepted as a member's
association at International Pharmaceutical Student Federation ( IPSF ).
• The decision was made by the general assembly taking place in the 63rd
IPSF World Congress 2017 - Taipei, Taiwan on August 2nd.
• IPSF has a lot to offer starting with Student exchange programme(SEP)
where students get to travel to IPSF's member countries and see how the
pharmacy profession is practiced there.
Also FoP will be hosting pharmacy students from other countries in Nepal.
IPSF also offers webinars, internships at FIP(International Pharmaceutical
Federation), WHO(world health organization), public health campaigns,
regional congresses and symposia, research on issues in pharmacy
education and workforce and lot more than you all can be a part of.
• Plus there is also grant for IPSF's programmes like SEP, for attending its
world congress and also regional symposiums, for carrying out projects on
local level.

of PEAN representing FoP

46. Meeting with high level delegates from china regarding
bilateral technology transfer in pharmaceutical sector
between Nepal and China at Hotel Royal Shing representing
FoP.

47. Given a free counseling and Presentation of about 1 hour and 45 minute's to
pharmacy students at Kathmandu about the activities of IPSF, FIP and YPG &
also a short presentation on how to apply for DHA ; pharmacy license exam
of UAE and Prometric exam without going to any consultancy .
