Indonesia is an archipelago nation in Southeast Asia that gained independence after World War II. It has the world's fourth largest population and has pursued moderate international relations, being a founding member of ASEAN and the Non-Aligned Movement. Indonesia has the largest economy in Southeast Asia and is a member of the G-20. It exports mainly to Japan, the US, and China and imports mainly from Japan, China, and Singapore.
