2. Welcome
We invite you to let go of everything you thought you knew about
yourself. To be prepared for a re-set of your fundamental beliefs
and habits.
To be prepared to meet the NEW YOU.
A person who is connected into the Heart of it All.
Take a deep breath. Open your Heart and let us take the first step
of this TransformHEARTive experience.
3. Step 1: The Intelligence of the Heart
• What are my needs?
• Where am I right now?
• Where would I like to be?
4. “What lies behind us and
what lies in front of us, pales
in comparison to what lies
within us.”
Ralph Waldo Emerson
6. Where am I right now? (How am I feeling in my life?)
7. Questions for contemplation?
• List two or more areas where you have stored emotional information with
another person or work/social issue/personal problem
• List two or more of your emotional reaction habits eg: quick to anger,
always blame myself, judgmental towards others, blaming others for my
feelings etc
• Is there a correlation between the lists? What might be the underlying belief
or story that you tell yourself? Can you think where you might have got this
story from?
• How are you feeling whilst you are asking these questions? Can you notice
the power of the stories we tell ourselves?
10. “Don’t ask what the world
needs. Ask what makes you
come alive and go do it.
Because what the world
needs is people who have
come alive.” — Howard
Thurman
11. Where would I like to be? (Connecting with your Purpose)
Contemplations for connecting with your purpose
• What is my earliest memory of being happy? This can
be connected to any activity…the feeling is what you are
looking to connect with here. Allow yourself to feel it as
you remember.
• Think of another later memory of the same kind.
• Now think of one more later memory of a time when
you were happy.
• Now think of a recent memory when you felt happy.
12. • What emotions are present in relation to each of these
memories? Take a moment to re-experience the memory and
write down what emotions appear. Dao this for each memory
and then compile a list of all the emotions you feel.
• Now from that list select the TWO that feel the most relevant
for you.
• Examples of the type of primary emotions we can connect
with are Love, Belonging, Connection, Joy, Excitement,
Passion, Positive anticipation, Togetherness.
Trust your instincts when choosing the two primary emotions.
13. Using the two primary emotions you identified write a statement
of purpose. For example, if the words you chose were Love and
Connection you might write,
• ‘I was born to connect with myself and my purpose and to feel
the love that results from inspiring others to do and feel the
same.’
• “Purpose is an emotion you cultivate within yourself and give
away to the world in the form of service to others. When you can
tap into and understand the emotions you want to feel, how to
produce them in yourself each and every day, and then how to give
those emotions away to the world, that’s when you take a massive
leap toward living your Purpose.”
• Mastin Kipp
14. Day 1- Summary
