This document discusses enhancements to a software tool aimed at synthesizing minimally restrictive liveness enforcing supervisory policies (LESPs) for manufacturing systems modeled using weighted Petri nets (PNs). It emphasizes the ability to prevent livelock conditions in these systems, identifying a specific class of PNs where the existence of an LESP can be systematically deduced. The paper presents improvements in running time for the tool and expands its applicability beyond previous limitations, making it crucial for managing liveness in complex manufacturing environments.
