The document outlines 12 key 21st century skills for world language students: communication, collaboration, critical thinking, creativity, information literacy, media literacy, technology literacy, flexibility, initiative, social/cross-cultural skills, productivity, and leadership. Teaching values is the CORE of the new changes coz simply ( 2G= 1g + teahcing values & cross curricular competences)
The meeting tackled to the following points:

2- Discussing some of the problems that face teachers at the beginning of the new school year
3- Brief review about what teachers should teach ( deleted lessons for all levels according to the slimming of the syllbus 2013)

Maggie Garrard, the Curriculum Manager at the Australian Children's Television Foundation (ACTF), gave a presentation about the ACTF and its educational resources and programs. The ACTF is a national non-profit organization funded by the government to provide entertaining and educational media for Australian children. It has screened programs in over 100 countries and won over 100 awards. The ACTF focuses on using media to encourage learning in areas like critical thinking, language development, and values. It aligns its resources to the Australian curriculum and considers theories of learning.
English Multilitericies And Social Change Use Me!
1. Teaching multiliteracies aims to develop cognitive and social literacy skills for interacting with different text types including print, digital, and visual. It also aims to promote social change through critical analysis of power relations in curriculum.
2. Key theorists who developed the concept of multiliteracies include Mary Kalantzis, Bill Cope, and the New London Group from 1994. They advocate using a "knowledge processes" approach to develop higher-order thinking.

The University of Glasgow Library developed a strategy to deliver mobile services over multiple phases.
Phase 1 involved developing a mobile catalogue, implementing QR codes, testing instant messaging and e-books, and conducting user surveys. Based on survey findings that most use mobile internet for email, social media and browsing, the top requested services were searching articles, checking out books and reading e-books.
Phase 2 will focus on improving the mobile website, expanding access to e-resources beyond e-books, using QR codes in physical locations, teaching digital skills, and utilizing mobile devices to improve workflows.
