The purpose of this Monthly Newsletter is to share thoughts on sustainable growth factors of the Nine Chronicles community and check status of
relative indices. Moreover, this report will be shared with Nine Chronicles community to receive feedback directly from the community for the
game to evolve and grow together with the community.
Through regular status analysis, Planetarium continuously monitors the game's improvement/development direction, aims to equip Nine
Chronicles with gaming completeness, and pursues sustainable community growth.
This Monthly Newsletter will serve as a foundation for checking the progress of Nine Chronicles and discussing the game internally and with
external partners. Nine Chronicles' game indices and various statistics are all transparently disclosed through Blockchain. The original data can be

Planetarium is the development studio of Nine Chronicles. However, the game is owned by the Nine Chronicles community. Therefore, this material

• The first phase of transitioning to PBFT (Practical Byzantine Fault Tolerance), which is the initial step in the switch to a Proof-of-Stake (POS) consensus
algorithm, has been successfully completed.
Changes are not visible in the game; however, it is a huge change for the network. Redesigning of staking and transaction reward systems are planned.
• Due to the limited addition of new content, the connectivity metrics have remained stable. However, the community has experienced a 5.7% increase
compared to previous metrics, likely influenced by events related to D:CC or other factors.

Key Updates of April
V200000 Update : PBFT on Mainnet
The PBFT update is part of the transition to a Proof-of-Stake (POS)
consensus algorithm and is a crucial step in achieving decentralization.
It addresses issues that arose from the previous version's centralized
block generation process. With PBFT, block generation is
decentralized, and the roles and responsibilities of validators are
distributed among nodes. This update holds significant importance as
the first step towards staking, transaction incentives, and the overall
transition to POS.
Although there haven't been significant game-related changes, the
connectivity metrics have remained stable. However, the community
continues to experience sustained growth due to these updates and the
influence of various collaborations related to D:CC PFP NFT.

6. • The crystal consumption, which increased during the ‘Grrrind It’ event in March, continued to grow in April. This successfully propelled the economic
growth of the game.
• Despite the absence of events, the crystal consumption has maintained a level approximately 40% higher compared to January and February.
• The crystal system is a major pillar of the Nine Chronicles' economic system, as it serves as a crucial material for crafting high-tier items. The
remarkable increase in crystal consumption during March and April has become an important indicator of overall game activity and engagement.

7. • As crystal consumption becomes more active, the item crafting, the most crucial growth activity, has reached its all-time high.
• In March, there was some stagnation due to the event-related issues, but it was confirmed that the overall game economy continued to grow in April.
• The items upgrade metrics has also rebounded, recovering to the level seen in February, and it is currently recording growth of over double compared to
the end of last year.

• Due to the absence of new content, in April, there was no significant change in the growth of NCG consumption. However, there was a significant
increase in Monster collection due to the activation of crystal consumption and the stimulation of item crafting and enhancement.
• As crystal consumption became more active, the amount of NCG staked for acquiring more crystals has steeply increased by 242K in the past week. This
suggests that players are preparing for the upcoming update, World 7.

as part of the Nine Chronicles blockchain
consensus algorithm.
• [04/27] D:CC NFT X Bancof
• The partnership with Bancof is now offering a
loan pool service for D:CC NFT Holders! This
means that you now have access to a total of 3
ETH loan pool.
• [05/03] PBFT Anomaly: Wipe them out when you can!
• The change in the consensus protocol to PBFT also brought unexpected results to the
9C world. With the glitch, monsters are considerably weaker, but only for limited time!

PBFT Anomaly! – Limited time Event
Wipe Them Out When You Can!
And Craft When You Can!
From the 3rd
of May, we have noticed some glitches with the monsters. They had hard time
adjusting to the newly added PBFT on Nine Chronicles. Consequently, they became much
weaker and vulnerable to the challenges from our adventurers. This is the prime moment
for our players to conquer through the states.
On the other hand, to incentivize our players with crafting different items in the game, we
have launched a hourglass event. Initially the rewards were for Top 5 players, however, after
hearing from our community, we have increased the reward pool to Top 20 players in total.
We have seen some old names and new names on the ranking board. You can check them
out on our Discord Channel. The event will continue until the 17th
of May. If you haven’t had
a chance to participate, right now is the best time for you to join the event!

Keeping Nine Chronicles Safe
Banning Bots to keep Nine Chronicles Fairer
and More Sustainable.
Recently, our team has made a commendable effort to combat bot accounts by taking
action against over 200,000 accounts. The purpose behind this action is to safeguard the
Nine Chronicles ecosystem from potential harm. Before the accounts are banned
suspicious accounts were carefully monitored and manually scanned by our team and CST
members (Special Thanks to our CST members)
Bot accounts have a detrimental impact on the game's ecosystem as they exploit certain
game mechanics for their own advantage. By actively removing these bot accounts, we aim
to preserve the sustainability and fairness of the ecosystem, ultimately benefiting all players.
Banning bot accounts is a crucial step in ensuring an improved overall gaming experience
for everyone involved.
