 Assessment – Students will complete the PEE assessmenton the Shared Sonnet, which
will be levelled by the teacher and feedback will be given.

Desirable difficulties for all abilities; how will students progress?
Writing their PEE assessment – over two lessons, we have looked at the Shared
Sonnet, where students have used independent strategies to work out
meanings, and the use of visuals and depictions from the film have been used.
EBT strategies:
e.g. APK, reciprocal teaching, collaborative learning, advance & visual organisers,
similarities and differences, goals, repetition and practice, meta-cognition, feedback,
cognitive challenge, subject knowledge, summaries and note-taking
 Cognitive challenge – students completing the PEE assessment will find
it cognitively challenging.
