2. This establishing shot sets the scene for where the film
is going t take place. It shows destruction and the
burning of a famous monument. This creates curiosity.

3. The shots are fast paced and a
chase scene is involved. The man
approaches and gore is shown,
revealing the age rating and genre.
The beginning bit is hand held.

4. The shot then zooms out quite drastically
and we see the world burning. The bottom
of the world is in flames and the top is
covered in light, representing hell and
heaven. The fire seems to spreading and
soon it will take over fully.

5. A montage then begins with fast paced music playing non
- diegatically. The sequence is comedic and involves
levels of humour such as a fat man being chased by a
zombie. ironically the man is running on a football pitch.

The main character is narrating in the background and
stating certain rules, people must abide to. The scenarios
are funny and involve occasions that are quite rare and
disturbing. The children at the party and trying to kill the
mother and the close ups on the faces show their
diseased looks and what they have become.

7. The humour in this shot is actually what kills her is
the car. The scene is in slow motion and the toys of
the children fly out the car with her. Showing that
she didn't escape them in the end.

8. The gore and blood used is over the top and
dramatic. The image of a lone zombie
coughing up blood is just an add on to the
horror comedy genre and renforces the zombie
feel.

9. When the title is revealed it moves with the
action taking place on screen. It smashes as if
it were a car wind screen. This re-instates the
drama and action involved. They have used
the word zombie in the title so there is little
discretion.

10. The over the top faces and expressions made are
humorous and the zombie chasing the man in this
clip is a stripper with money still flying about. She
is covered in blood and all the men coming out of
the club are middle-aged men in suits.

11. This high angle shot of a dimly lit
bathroom cubicle, implies that it is dingy
and old and the silence of the music hints
that some sort of foreboding danger is
about to happen. He is reading the news
paper and his face is not show.

12. The names of the production team and cast
move as they are touched or come into
contact with the action taking place. The
use of the fireman and flames act as a
reminder for the action based plot in the
film.

13. The prison warden being thrown off
the podium by the prisoner acts as a
symbol for the whole of America and
it is to show that all control and
order has been lost and the prison is
seen as a microcosm.
