This document discusses selective axillary dissection in carcinoma of the breast. It notes that tumor size and axillary lymph node status are important prognostic factors, and that axillary lymph node dissection is an important staging procedure. However, total axillary dissection can cause morbidity. The concept of sentinel node biopsy is explored as a way to select patients who need full axillary dissection versus those who do not by examining the first lymph node(s) that receive metastatic cells from the primary tumor. Studies demonstrating the predictive value and accuracy of sentinel node biopsy in determining axillary node status are summarized.

The International Classification of Functioning (ICF) Core Set for breast cancer – a prospective surveillance tool to identify rehabilitation needs - Marese Cooney
The document discusses new drug developments in subsets of breast cancer. It describes how breast cancer is being segmented into rare molecular subtypes defined by specific molecular alterations. This molecular segmentation is important for optimally developing targeted agents by enriching clinical trials for patients with the relevant molecular alteration. Several new drugs for treating specific breast cancer subtypes are mentioned, including drugs targeting HER2, angiogenesis, hormone receptors, and DNA repair pathways in triple negative breast cancer.
This document discusses different types and classifications of breast cancer. It begins by classifying breast cancers as either invasive (extending into surrounding tissue) or non-invasive (confined to ducts or lobules).
It then provides details on specific histologic types of non-invasive (in-situ) breast carcinomas like ductal carcinoma in situ (DCIS), lobular carcinoma in situ (LCIS), and Paget's disease. It also describes invasive breast carcinoma types including infiltrating ductal carcinoma and lobular carcinoma. For each type, it provides information on frequency, survival rates, clinical features, and microscopic appearance.

The biomechanics of running involves the study of the mechanical principles underlying running movements. It includes the analysis of the running gait cycle, which consists of the stance phase (foot contact to push-off) and the swing phase (foot lift-off to next contact). Key aspects include kinematics (joint angles and movements, stride length and frequency) and kinetics (forces involved in running, including ground reaction and muscle forces). Understanding these factors helps in improving running performance, optimizing technique, and preventing injuries.

GASTROINTESTINAL INFECTIONS AND GASTRITIS
Osvaldo Bernardo Muchanga
Gastrointestinal Infections
GASTROINTESTINAL INFECTIONS result from the ingestion of pathogens that cause infections at the level of this tract, generally being transmitted by food, water and hands contaminated by microorganisms such as E. coli, Salmonella, Shigella, Vibrio cholerae, Campylobacter, Staphylococcus, Rotavirus among others that are generally contained in feces, thus configuring a FECAL-ORAL type of transmission.
Among the factors that lead to the occurrence of gastrointestinal infections are the hygienic and sanitary deficiencies that characterize our markets and other places where raw or cooked food is sold, poor environmental sanitation in communities, deficiencies in water treatment (or in the process of its plumbing), risky hygienic-sanitary habits (not washing hands after major and/or minor needs), among others.
These are generally consequences (signs and symptoms) resulting from gastrointestinal infections: diarrhea, vomiting, fever and malaise, among others.
The treatment consists of replacing lost liquids and electrolytes (drinking drinking water and other recommended liquids, including consumption of juicy fruits such as papayas, apples, pears, among others that contain water in their composition).
To prevent this, it is necessary to promote health education, improve the hygienic-sanitary conditions of markets and communities in general as a way of promoting, preserving and prolonging PUBLIC HEALTH.
Gastritis and Gastric Health
Gastric Health is one of the most relevant concerns in human health, with gastrointestinal infections being among the main illnesses that affect humans.
Among gastric problems, we have GASTRITIS AND GASTRIC ULCERS as the main public health problems. Gastritis and gastric ulcers normally result from inflammation and corrosion of the walls of the stomach (gastric mucosa) and are generally associated (caused) by the bacterium Helicobacter pylor, which, according to the literature, this bacterium settles on these walls (of the stomach) and starts to release urease that ends up altering the normal pH of the stomach (acid), which leads to inflammation and corrosion of the mucous membranes and consequent gastritis or ulcers, respectively.
In addition to bacterial infections, gastritis and gastric ulcers are associated with several factors, with emphasis on prolonged fasting, chemical substances including drugs, alcohol, foods with strong seasonings including chilli, which ends up causing inflammation of the stomach walls and/or corrosion. of the same, resulting in the appearance of wounds and consequent gastritis or ulcers, respectively.
Among patients with gastritis and/or ulcers, one of the dilemmas is associated with the foods to consume in order to minimize the sensation of pain and discomfort.
Pictorial and detailed description of patellar instability with sign and symptoms and how to diagnose , what investigations you should go with and how to approach with treatment options . I have presented this slide in my 2nd year junior residency in orthopedics at LLRM medical college Meerut and got good reviews for it
After getting it read you will definitely understand the topic.

2. AiMs
The breast cancer meeting in Modena started seven years ago as a Meet the Professor initiative to facilitate the discussion among recog-
nized Experts and physicians involved in breast cancer management. Over the years, the number and the expertise of the attendees has
increased as has the scientific content of the meeting. This seventh edition is now an international conference that will gather some of
the top scientists and clinicians from all over the word. The Programme of the Conference includes lectures, round tables on topics that
require a multifaceted approach, highlights from international meetings, debates on controversial items and clinical case discussions.
Even though the Conference has increased the number of the participants and the international inspiration, this 7th Modena International
Breast Cancer Conference will maintain its characteristics of a friendly forum where internationally recognized experts and attendees
can exchange experiences and comment on the most exiting advances in breast cancer biology and therapy. In order to reward scientific
excellence and facilitate international cooperation, the International Scientific Committee of MIBCC 7th, will award the Second Interna-
tional Unimore Prize for Breast Cancer Research to a young scientist who has published a breakthrough paper in the previous year and
the Monica Boscolo Research Grant to an Italian scientist willing to pursue a research project in a foreign institution.
Medical oncologists, breast surgeons, radiologists, pathologists and basic scientists interested in translational research are welcome to
Modena to listen to breast cancer leaders and exchange experience in a friendly atmosphere.
