Мета:
Практична: - формувати вміння монологічного мовлення за даною
ситуацією;
- розвивати навички читання тексту з розумінням
загального змісту;
- систематизувати вивчений матеріал.
Освітня: - поглибити знання учнів по темі «Подорожі»;
- розширити знання учнів про різні види транспорту.
Розвиваюча: - розвивати мовну здогадку та мовленнєву реакцію
учнів;
- розвивати вміння самостійно аналізувати і
- систематизувати мовний матеріал;
- розвивати естетичне сприймання дійсності;
- розвивати навички правопису лексичних одиниць за
даною темою.
Виховна: - виховувати повагу і взаєморозуміння
- виховувати повагу до культурних традицій країни.
Обладнання уроку: картки з віршами, тексти, малюнки видів транспорту,
таблички для лексичної роботи.

My name is Tom Brown. I like to travel very much. When I want
to have a rest, to listen to the birds singing and to enjoy fresh air, I take my bag
and go on foot to the forest to live some days in a tent. (у наметі)
Sometimes I go by bus or by train to see my relatives. During my trip I
like to meet new people, to see beautiful nature outside the window, to speak to
my neighbours ( сусідів) about the latest news. In summer I often go abroad to
see historical places, monuments, museums, to learn many interesting things
about different countries.
When I have a voyage on the river or on the sea I enjoy water and sky
sights
(краєвиди), gulls, dolphins, waves even storms. It’s very fine if you are not
seasick! (не маєте морської хвороби).

- we can go on foot to the forest (or by bike) and to have a
good time there.

while traveling.

T. Well, as you see it’s so nice not to sit at home for a long time but to go
somewhere! Let’s read this short poem and enjoy it!

T. As you see there are many different ways to travel. Listen to these short
descriptions and guess what is the kind of transport.

Ways of Travelling
1. It is a very quick way of travelling. You can get from one town to another in
almost no time. The seats are comfortable. Sometimes you cannot see anything
through the window, only the sky and the clouds. When it rains very hard, you
can't travel by it.

2. This way of travelling is rather quick. You can start your journey when you
like, stopping at any place you like and go where you like. You don't buy
tickets, you only buy gas and can go. Usually families travel by it.
(by car)

4. 3. Young people, students and schoolchildren like to travel like this. They don't
buy tickets and don't use any transport. They put on sport shoes and trainers, or
jeans and T-shirts, take their bags with them and go. Usually they walk through
the countryside or to the forests, live in tents and cook on the campfire.

4. This way of travelling is fast. You need to buy a ticket at the booking-office
and pack your suitcase. But look at your watch in order not to be late. You must
go to the railway station.
(by train)
5. This way of travelling is not very fast, but very pleasant. You don't travel
on land, you move by water. Some people don't like to travel like this,
because they become seasick. This is a very nice way of travelling in
summer. You can enjoy sea gulls, waves and fresh air.

T. Very nice! Good for you! And now take theses pictures of different kinds of
transport and make the advertisement( рекламу) for them. What it interesting in
your way of traveling? Why do you prefer it?
Speaking activity.
(Учні обирають малюнки і описують ці види транспорту і способи
подорожування, запевняючи, що саме їх спосіб найзручніший і
найкращий)

Зразки відповідей:
- I think that traveling by bike is very useful in our town. We often go to our
friends and to the kitchen garden by it. It is also useful for health.
- In autumn I and my father often go to the forest by motorbike for mushrooms.
We also go the village of Olenivka to visit my grandparents. I like to go by
motorbike so much!
- Last summer I went to Moscow by plane. It’s very fast and comfortable kind
of transport. The stewardess gave us some food and drinks. I drank lemonade
and apple-juice. Fly by planes! It’s very interesting!
T. Well, what about this transport ? (вчитель показує малюнок літаючої
тарілки. ( див. додаток 3) Is it interesting to travel by space-ship? What can
you see while traveling?
Look through and match these words in the columns and answer this
question.

слова, що стосуються даної теми і викреслюють, якщо знаходять слово, що
не відноситься до теми про подорожі, потрібно довести, що на їх думку
воно теми стосується)

Swim – because traveling by ship or by boat you can swim in the river.

kind of?
