This document discusses the importance of mental toughness for success in network marketing. It explains that as an entrepreneur in this field, you will likely face criticism and negativity from friends and family. The author recalls facing this when first starting out. He advocates developing thick skin to withstand such attacks and opinions from others. The document compares cultivating mental toughness to a rhino's thick skin, allowing you to focus on your business without being damaged by outside opinions. It argues that mental strength separates winning athletes and network marketers from average ones.

Hill invested 20 years of his life interviewing more than 16,000 people among the top 500 millionaires and most important people in the world and those ones who had also failed.
This book is an inner excellence self-help guide to help us discover our true Being, release our pain and find deeper inner peace.
When we are intensely present in the Now, we respond from deep consciousness and flow with ease and joy in life. In so doing, we can better fulfill our outer purpose ( to achieve goals and seek to create a better world) while fulfilling our inner purpose and truly changing the world at cause.
Tolle started the book by sharing the circumstance and experiences leading to his “ Enlightenment”. Like many others, he had suffered from anxiety and even suicidal depression for many years. Then, when he was 29 years old, he had a personal epiphany which brought him “ a state of the most intense joy” and changed the course of his life since.

Motivation is like an accelerator in a vehicle. A vehicle keeps moving at the pace decided by its accelerator. The moment accelerator is reduced, vehicle’s speed reduces and it may come to a standstill if there is no further acceleration. Alternatively, if brakes are applied, there will be an abrupt reduction in the speed of the vehicle and it may come to a standstill.
This is true to human beings as well. As long as they are motivated they keep working and producing extraordinary results. The moment there is a drop in their acceleration (motivation), results start diminishing. Of course, applying brakes (dissatisfaction/demotivation) certainly bring them to a halt. The only difference is that unlike a vehicle, human beings have different types of accelerator and brake.
Therefore, the book, Why My Horse Doesn't Drink' will help readers to identify the ways that may accelerate or slow down the speed of their team members. Chapter ‘How to motivate’ talks about the points that accelerate and chapter ‘How not to demotivate’ explains the factors that may work as brakes to performance. Thereby readers will be able to make best use of their vehicle (Team Members).
Motivation PowerPoint Slides include topics such as: understanding needs vs. wants, factors for motivation, employee rewards, offering praise/recognition, types of motivation, job enrichment, the role of money and motivation, incentive programs, motivation ironies, boosting efficiency, 30 ways to motivate, Maslow's hierarchy, how to's and more. Trades and losses go together like peanut butter and jam. Like cookies and milk. Having one without the other is virtually impossible. Ok, maybe you don’t care for the food combo but in trading, you can’t go without taking a loss and it is fruitless to even try. Most lose and that is a fact.
The losses though can end up being much more than monetary.
I get the privilege of chatting with traders during the week. While I enjoy it, I do get to hear some pretty hard stories. Lost jobs. Brink of bankruptcy. Sick family member. The reasons people enter the trading arena are varied but at the end of it all, money is the key factor.
Some of the words I hear are “I must”, “No choice”, “Last hope” and a few other demanding type of phrases. It is worrisome.
The facts are in….
You are more likely to fail. Yes, YOU. Can trading be taught? Certainly. Can everybody learn? You bet. Can most succeed? Clearly not and the reasons…..the hard cold facts…..is the reason is you. Period. Some are just not cut out mentally for the challenges of trading.

Isn’t it curious? We look at other people, envy them for looking so terribly perfect and wish we could trade places with them, while they consider us and think of the same thing. We're jealous of other people who themselves are jealous of us. We suffer from low self-regard, lack of assurance and lose hope in self-improvement and ever winning anyone over.

What most people fail to understand is that SUCCESS IS A CHOICE! It is about building a successful life in whatever direction you choose.
• No matter where you are...
• No matter what your past...
• No matter what your education...
You can begin making the choices, right now, that will take you to the place that you want to be.
Individuals adore gaming, and that's not always a loathsome thing.
Whether played on a hand-held platform, a PC, or a TV, the games
might supply hours of quiet fun. The games might advance PC skills
and greater eye-hand coordination.
Video games are emotionally "untroubled." When an individual
makes an error, no one else sees (contrary to the public abjection of,
say, striking out in a real life baseball game). And as every error made
in gaming helps the player learn the specific action needed the next
time, the player gets the satisfaction of steadily improving and in the
end winning.
However gaming bears a few downsides. Besides being truly
expensive, many in demand games involve vivid sex and violence.
Perhaps most worrisome, they might be exceedingly habit-forming.
Any individual might become "addicted" to gaming, and individuals
with AD/HD appear to be at specific risk.

Toughness
A No B.S. Report For Network Marketers Looking
To Take Their Business To The Next Level FAST
Author: Todd Falcone
www.ToddFalcone.com
I’ll
just
start
off
by
saying
this:
You’ve
got
to
be
tough
in
this
business.
In
fact,
you’ve
got
to
be
tough
in
most
businesses.
As
a
network
marketer,
you’ve
stepped
outside
of
the
box.
You’ve
stepped
out
and
are
doing
what
most
aren’t
doing:
your
own
thing.
You’re
no
longer
pursuing
the
“job”
market
and
allowing
someone
else
to
dictate
how
much
you
are
worth
in
the
marketplace.
When
you
wear
those
shoes,
it’s
different.
People
are
going
to
take
shots
at
you.
In
fact,
some
of
your
best
friends
and
loved
ones,
those
that
you
expect
to
be
supportive
of
you,
are
going
to
sometimes
be
the
least
supportive
of
the
bunch.
And
it
can
hurt,
but
only
if
you
let
it.
I
remember
when
I
first
got
started
in
network
marketing.

3. People
would
make
fun
of
me.
My
friends
gave
me
crap.
My
mom
thought
I
was
in
an
illegal
pyramid
scheme
and
threatened
to
make
me
pay
back
my
college
education.
Not
sure
why
my
friends
were
so
negative
and
don’t
really
care.
Maybe
they
just
wanted
the
best
for
me.
Who
knows?
But,
you
know
what?
When
you
grow
up,
you’ve
got
to
do
your
own
thing
and
make
your
own
decisions.
You
can’t
live
at
home
forever.
The
street
doesn’t
seem
so
appealing
either.
My
philosophy
is
this:
“If
you
aren’t
paying
my
rent,
I’m
not
listening
to
you.
If
you
aren’t
putting
food
in
my
mouth,
your
opinion
should
stay
to
yourself.
Don’t
give
me
your
garbage
unless
you’re
going
to
support
me
for
the
rest
of
my
life.”
People
always
want
to
voice
their
opinions
and
tell
you
what
they
“think”
you
should
be
doing.
Being
an
entrepreneur
brings
new
experiences.
People
want
to
shut
you
down,
put
you
down
and
make
fun
of
you.
Perhaps
they’re
jealous.
Perhaps
they’re
afraid.
Either
way,
it
doesn’t
matter.
You’ve
made
the
choice,
the
decision
to
DO
this,
so
you
might
as
well
be
prepared.
Look
at
the
Rhino,
for
instance.
The
Rhino
was
the
mascot
in
the
first
company
I
was
in.
Why?
The
Rhino
is
a
big,
giant

with
incredibly
thick
skin.
It

its
own
business

its
day.
It
does
its
thing.
Arrows
don’t
do
much
good
when
trying
to
drop
a
Rhino.
The
skin
of
a
Rhinoceros
is
as
thick
as
45
millimeters.
It
is
tough
to
penetrate.
It
is
extremely
difficult
to
piss
off.
But…when
you
do,
look
out!
It
will
charge
you
and
run
you
over.
Think
about
that
for
a
moment
and
equate
it
to
YOU
in
your
home
business.
You’re
out
there
minding
your
own
business,
doing
what
it
is
that
YOU
want
to

When
you
have
thick

(mental
toughness),
you
cannot
be
hurt
or
damaged
by
negativities
people
throw
out
at
you.
And…if
someone
keeps
on
bugging
you
and
giving
you
garbage,
you
finally
retaliate.
And
when
you
do…it
is
NOT
going
to
be

the
other

Mental
toughness
is
critically
important
for
success
in

Top-‐performing

their

on

mental

5. chances
of
you
performing
better,
maintaining
higher
productivity
and
developing
a
bigger
group
are
greatly
increased.
Mental
toughness
is
what
separates
a
winning
athlete
from
one
who
simply
remains
average.
If
two
athletes
have
relatively
the
same
skills,
are
of
the
same
size,
and
have
the
same
level
of
endurance,
which
will
win?
The
one
with
greater
mental
strength
will
prevail,
of
course.
I'm
sure
you've
even
seen
smaller,
weaker,
slower
athletes
miraculously
rise
to
the
occasion
when
faced
with
an
opponent
of
greater
size,
skill
and
overall
ability,
yet
still
win.
It
is
often
the
mental
toughness
that
makes
the
difference.
You've
probably
all
heard
the
story
of
David
and
Goliath
in
the
Bible…
Here,
a
young
boy
with
only
a
sling
and
a
few
stones
kills
a
nine-‐foot
giant
armed
with
swords,
a
bronze
helmet,
and
an
armor
coat.
The
giant
Goliath
basically
looks
at
young
David
and
laughs
at
him
thinking
what
a
joke
it
iss
that
such
a
small
boy
would
even
attempt
to
fight
him.
Yet
David
says
to
Goliath,
"you
come
against
me
with
sword
and
spear
and
javelin,
but
I
come
against
you
in
the
name
of
the
Lord
Almighty.
This
day
the
Lord
will
hand
you
over
to
me,
and
I'll
strike
you
down
and
cut
off
your
head."

6. How
is
it
that
someone
who
is
outmanned
and

can
still

superior
state
of
mind
that
makes
the
difference.
You
cannot
ignore
the
mental
side
of
the
business.
Mental
toughness
is
a
combination
of
learned
skills
and
mindset
techniques
that
will
help
you
raise
the
level
of
your
training
and
competitive
performance,
whether
it
be
for
athletics
or
in
your
business.
Becoming
mentally
tough
is
a
simple
process
that
shouldn't
be
complicated.
Keep
it
simple
and
stick
to
the
basics.
Complicating
the
process
will
only
make
it
more
difficult
to
maintain
your
high
level
of
toughness.
You
don't
want
to
be
caught
"thinking"
about
how
to
be
mentally
tough.
You
simply
need
to
be
in
that
state.
By
the
way,
before
I
get
into
the
seven
steps,
I
want
to
give
you
a
little
"food
for
thought."
I
didn't

EASY

7. did
I
say
a
QUICK
way
to
mental
toughness.
There
is
no
quick
and
easy
route
to
mental
toughness.
It
is
a
process,
just
like
mastering
anything
in
life
tends
to
be.
Here
are
seven
SIMPLE
steps
you
can
apply
beginning
right
now
that
can
help
you
achieve
a
greater
level
of
mental
toughness
in
your
business:
1.
Physical
Conditioning:
If
you
stay
in
the
game
and
play
it
with
regularity,
meaning
you're
in
the
field
DOING
it,
you
begin
to
develop
a
level
of
natural
toughness
that
comes
with
the
territory.
If
you
work
your
business
with
regularity
and
are
taking
consistent
daily
strides
forward,
you
will
naturally
begin
to
develop
mental
strength.
If
the
abuse
keeps
coming,
you
become
thick-‐skinned
and
develop
calluses...right?
Think
about
that
for
a
moment.
Think
in
your
mind
about
how
a
callus
is
created
and
the
toughness
that
comes
out
as
a
result
of
it.
It
works
the
same
way
on
the
mental
side.
If
you
keep
your
head
and
your
body
in
the
game
and
the
same
abuse
comes
your
way
every
day
(i.e.
rejection,
no
shows,
canceled
orders,
downline
that
quits,
etc.),
you
naturally
develop
a
thicker
skin.
2.
Read
and
Listen
Daily:
Expose
yourself
to
others
who
have
already
experienced
it.
If
someone
has
overcome
odds
or
obstacles
or
constantly
wins
under
pressure,
don't
you
want
to
know
why
or
how?
You
should!
Spend
at
least
30-‐minutes
a
day,
EVERY
DAY,
reading
and/or
listening
to
someone
that
inspires
you
toward
greatness.
Don't
sell
yourself
short
and
say,
"but
I'm
so
busy,
I
just
don't
have
the
time."
If
you
don't
do
this,
you
are
killing
yourself,
cheating
yourself,
and
robbing
yourself
of
your
potential.
Don't
screw
this
up.
Focus
on
working
hard
on
you!

8. 3.
Use
Affirmations:
Positive
emotional
statements
spoken
in
the
present
tense
condition
the
unconscious
mind
to
turn
those
thoughts
into
realities.
What
you
speak
and
think
about,
you
become.
If
you
spend
time
thinking
about
how
bad
you
are
doing
or
how
poor
or
unsuccessful
you
are,
you
will
stay
there.
Contrarily,
if
you
spend
only
time
using
positive
daily
affirmations
that
say
things
like,
"I
am
alive
and
full
of
energy"
or
"I
am
successful
and
attract
powerful,
energetic
people
to
my
business,"
you
will
become
those
very
things
you
think
and
talk
about.
Write
down
a
series
of
positive
and
powerful
affirmations
that
are
spoken
in
the
PRESENT
TENSE
that
evoke
EMOTION
in
you.
Then,
read
them
daily
at
least
three
times
a
day.
Read
them
once
in
the
morning,
at
lunch
and
prior
to
going
to
bed.
If
you
think
this
is
crazy
or
stupid
you
probably
shouldn't
be
in
network
marketing.
This
WORKS.
Train
your
unconscious
mind
to
make
these
things
a
reality,
and
start
doing
it
today.
4.
Associative
Conditioning:
Get
fed
up
and
mad
about
where
you
are.
In
fact,
get
downright
angry
and
do
something
about
it.
That's
what
associative
conditioning
is
all
about.
I
remember
in
the
movie
“Network”;
a
guy
got
so
angry
about
where
he
was
in
his
life
that
he
ran
to
the
window
and
screamed
at
the
top
of
his
lungs,
"I'm
mad
as
hell
and
I'm
not
going
to
take
it
anymore."
What
an
incredibly
moving
moment
it
was!
If
you
can
associate
enough
pain
with
where
you
are
right
now,
and
so
All Rights Reserved 2011 ToddFalcone.com
9. much
pleasure
and
joy
from
your
life,
as
you
want
to
design
it,
you
will
take
the
actions
necessary
to
change
it.
This
takes
some
real
thought
to
make
this
work,
but
it
is
VERY
powerful.
If
you
want
life
change
to
occur,
think
long
and
hard
about
where
you
are
today.
Are
you
getting
all
you
want?
Are
you
the
best
you
can
be?
Do
you
want
more?
If
you're
in
the
doldrums
of
life
and
experience
tremendous
pain
and
anguish,
this
will
be
a
little
easier
for
you
to
do.
Simply
create
a
strong
association
between
where
you
are
and
the
PAIN
it
causes
you.
It
will
quickly
motivate
you
to
work
away
from
the
pain
and
work
toward
the
pleasure
zone.
5.
Imagery
and
Visualization:
Creating
an
image
or
movie
in
your
mind
about
the
future
is
very
powerful.
Visualize
what
your
life
would
be
like
if
you
had
everything
you
wanted.
Where
would
you
live?
What
would
you
be
driving?
Doing?
Where
would
you
travel?
What
would
you
wear?
Where
would
you
eat?
What
would
you
do
every
day?
Close
your
eyes
and
create
a
specific
movie
in
your
mind,
then
rewind
it
and
play
it
again.
Repeat
this
process
daily
and
visualize
where
you
will
be.
You
can
also
use
physical
pictures
for
the
visualization
process,
also
known
as
dream
boards,
where
you
actually
paste
pictures
of
things,
places,
words,
etc.
that
help
you
create
images
of
what
you
want
your
life
to
be
like.
Many
top
people
use
this
strategy
to
get
them
where
they
want
to
go.
When
you
have
All Rights Reserved 2011 ToddFalcone.com
10. strong
imagery
in
your
mind,
it
is
very
difficult
to
be
mentally
weak.
6.
Reinvent
Yourself:
This
method
is
very
interesting.
It's
much
like
acting.
It
allows
you
to
see
from
a
new
set
of
eyes
or
become
a
resident
in
a
new
neighborhood.
Think
about
this
for
a
moment.
As
a
child
or
teen,
you
were
picked
on
and
not
very
popular
and
everyone
in
your
town
knew
you
and
what
you
were
like.
Even
though
you
began
to
change
and
you
were
"cooler"
than
you
used
to
be,
you
couldn't
easily
change
that
image.
However,
if
you
moved
to
another
neighborhood
far
away,
you
could
then
reinvent
yourself,
couldn't
you?
You
could
create
the
image
or
persona
that
YOU
wanted.
Whether
it
is
in
real
life
or
acting,
the
reinventing
process
works.
If
you
feel
you
are
weak,
shy,
timid
or
unsuccessful,
reinvent
yourself.
Start
seeing
from
a
new
set
of
eyes
today
and
become
a
resident
in
a
new
neighborhood.
Be
what
you
want
to
be,
not
what
you
are.
Actors
do
this
all
the
time.
It's
exactly
what
they
do.
Their
careers
are
based
on
reinventing
themselves.
Act
the
part
that
you
want
to
play,
and
start
doing
it
today.
7.
Winning
Concentration:
This
final
step
is
very
simple.
It
deals
with
focus.
You
must
stay
centered
and
totally
focused
on
the
task
at
hand.
If
you
were
to
play
in
a
tennis
match,
you
focus
on
the
ball.
If
you
are
playing
in
the
PGA,
your
focus
is
to
mentally
stay
on
track.
Golfers
can't
let
their
mind
slip
for
even
one
single
shot.
Focus
totally
on
success,
victory,
and
winning.
There
is
no
other
option.
You
must
beat
your
opponent.
In
the
case
of
mental
toughness
and
network
marketing,
your
All Rights Reserved 2011 ToddFalcone.com
11. opponent
is
generally
you.
Keep
your
eye
on
the
ball
until
the
game
is
over.
These
are
seven
basic
principles
used
for
developing
mental
toughness
in
life,
in
business,
or
in
athletics.
Practice
these
and
you
will
find
yourself
having
greater
strength
and
success
in
all
that
you
do.
Wishing
you
the
very
best!
