This document provides an introduction to storytelling, including outlining a story with a plot structure of exposition, rising action, climax, falling action and resolution. It discusses finding a story, learning the components of a good story, rehearsing, telling a story and getting feedback. Learners are asked to outline and present a story about a place they know well to practice these storytelling techniques.

Ask the students about stories they like to read, listen to, watch on TV. Have a brief, 5 minute discussion on stories and storytelling.
