Mobile is increasingly important as more people use mobile phones than PCs to access the internet. By 2015, there will be one mobile device per person. Users expect a good mobile experience comparable to desktop and will abandon sites that are slow to load. A bad mobile experience can cost businesses customers. Mobile users want local information and often act within 24 hours of searching. While apps are popular, many prefer mobile sites for shopping tasks like researching prices and reviews. Businesses can drive purchases with mobile-friendly sites as many users compare prices and read reviews on their phones.

The internet access landscape has changed fairly dramatically over the last 2 years. In 2013 we asked people what type of device they used primarily to access the Internet 26% of the people used primarily a mobile device to get on the internet. In 2015 this has increased to 52%.
Many of us think directly about Google Analytics. It’s the tool we use every day and are familiar with. But how can we prepare our trusted Google Analytics tool to work on mobile?
There is a growing necessity for businesses to adopt mobile strategies as consumers increasingly use mobile apps and mobile sites as the popular default to Internet access.
The right mobile engagement is key. A personal mobile phone is a vary valuable asset to any person - a true 1-2-1 user engagement platform.
This presentation highlights the types of engagement linked to mobile phones and how to optimise these possibilities as well as use them to their full potential.
Mobile customer engagement is a rapidly growing trend where consumers and businesses are interacting with companies through mobile web, messaging and apps to learn about products, request service, get support, and make purchases.
As customers shift behavior to using mobile devices to engage brands and businesses, companies need to respond immediately by providing a consistent high quality user experience across web, mobile web, and mobile apps. While having basic mobile customer engagement tools and strategies in place there is a big upside for companies which leverage the latest mobile engagement strategies.

SEO in the Age of Apps
How has the evolution of the mobile apps changed search? Niche mobile search apps are supplying consumers with options to find what they're looking for faster and more efficiently than ever before and to make the most of this opportunity, marketers needs to rethink their approach and expand their efforts beyond the mobile browser.
What users want from mobile - Equation Research - July 2011Romain Fonnier
Executive Summary:
Mobile is reaching critical mass. According to Forrester Research, Inc., mobile
commerce will top $6 billion by the end of this year (2011) and is expected
to reach $31 billion by 2016. The ubiquity of mobile phones, improved
infrastructure, advances in device utility, overall market penetration and the hype
around the iPhone and applications are driving phenomenal growth.
eBay recorded close to $2 billion in sales on mobile devices in 2010 — expects close
to $4 billion in 2011.
Google mobile ads are now over a $1 billion business worldwide.
Amtrak attributes 2% of its revenue to mobile — $32 million — and notes growth is
staggering.
Marriott Hotels averaged mobile sales of $6 million per month in 2010 – up 100%
from 2009.
ASOS’s (U.K.) mobile revenues topped £1m in the U.K. during December — double
the retailer’s expectations.
1-800-Flowers.com tops $1 million in quarterly m-commerce sales — up 9,900%
from same quarter in 2010.
Worldwide, mobile commerce should hit $119 billion in 2015, according to
ABI Research. Despite the upbeat forecasts, a large number of businesses
are in the planning or early deployment phases of their mobile strategies, but
consumers want to connect on mobile devices today.

Effective Application Security in Software Delivery lifecycle using Deployment Firewall and DBOM
The modern software delivery process (or the CI/CD process) includes many tools, distributed teams, open-source code, and cloud platforms. Constant focus on speed to release software to market, along with the traditional slow and manual security checks has caused gaps in continuous security as an important piece in the software supply chain. Today organizations feel more susceptible to external and internal cyber threats due to the vast attack surface in their applications supply chain and the lack of end-to-end governance and risk management.
The software team must secure its software delivery process to avoid vulnerability and security breaches. This needs to be achieved with existing tool chains and without extensive rework of the delivery processes. This talk will present strategies and techniques for providing visibility into the true risk of the existing vulnerabilities, preventing the introduction of security issues in the software, resolving vulnerabilities in production environments quickly, and capturing the deployment bill of materials (DBOM).
Speakers:
Bob Boule
Robert Boule is a technology enthusiast with PASSION for technology and making things work along with a knack for helping others understand how things work. He comes with around 20 years of solution engineering experience in application security, software continuous delivery, and SaaS platforms. He is known for his dynamic presentations in CI/CD and application security integrated in software delivery lifecycle.
Gopinath Rebala
Gopinath Rebala is the CTO of OpsMx, where he has overall responsibility for the machine learning and data processing architectures for Secure Software Delivery. Gopi also has a strong connection with our customers, leading design and architecture for strategic implementations. Gopi is a frequent speaker and well-known leader in continuous delivery and integrating security into software delivery.

Elevating Tactical DDD Patterns Through Object CalisthenicsDorra BARTAGUIZ
After immersing yourself in the blue book and its red counterpart, attending DDD-focused conferences, and applying tactical patterns, you're left with a crucial question: How do I ensure my design is effective? Tactical patterns within Domain-Driven Design (DDD) serve as guiding principles for creating clear and manageable domain models. However, achieving success with these patterns requires additional guidance. Interestingly, we've observed that a set of constraints initially designed for training purposes remarkably aligns with effective pattern implementation, offering a more ‘mechanical’ approach. Let's explore together how Object Calisthenics can elevate the design of your tactical DDD patterns, offering concrete help for those venturing into DDD for the first time!
