6. production reflection (interactive)
- 2. Process The first thing I did was draw a background that fit into the colour scheme I had decided on. I then drew two frogs with suits and top hats, one stationary and one in the middle of jumping to improve the animation. The tree is there to fill in empty space within the background and the fox is there so the fox has something to hop on.
- 3. Process I drew another background with the same dimensions and layout as the last background. However I changed the grass into water with lily pads on so the frog could hop on something. To ensure the backgrounds lined up I overlayed the layers and drew over it to make sure I didn’t colour over anything I didn’t need to.
- 4. Process Then, I drew a 3rd and final background with similar dimensions to the other two. This background had water on the other side to finish the pond from the last background. I also drew a Dragonfly so the frog had some sort of enemy/goal in the game.
- 5. Process I made the frog spit a thistle out of his mouth like a projectile to kill the Dragonfly. To signify that the Dragonfly was affected by the thistle I made it explode like a firework. The firework is the same colour scheme as the Dragonfly to show the connection between the two.
- 6. Process This is one of the last frames in my animation because of my lack of time due to catching coronavirus. Being behind I didn’t have enough time to finish the game with the frog saving a princess. This is my product and I’m happy with how good it looks in the little time I had to make it.
