Repair- is fixing or restoring broken
items to be used again.
Here are some examples:
❑ sewing torn out shirts
❑ fixing broken doorknob
❑ replacing the stuck zipper
Reuse- use the material again,
or use for another purpose
Tips on how to reuse:
❑ donating old household item
like old clothes, toys and books
❑ cans and boards for school projects
Tips on how to reuse:
❑ scrap papers into note pad
❑ old containers into food storage
❑ old toothbrush into cleaners like
sewing machine parts,
stove burner and kitchen wares
Recycle- processing the waste materials to
make another or new product.
Some materials that could be recycled:
➢ paper, plastics, old carton, newspaper
➢ metals, ceramics, eggshells and many
more
Reduce- lessen the use of
unnecessary materials.
